It is quite cool, yet... lore is really cool stuff, but would make more sense if players in Eve, were making use of lore in gameplay, like roleplaying or something close to it.
OK some Slavic (especially Slovenian) mythology time: Triglav (Troglav) is a three headed (now look at the ship) Slavic deity, known in Slovenia and northern as a god of sky, earth and water. Some say it's a combination of Svarog, Perun and Dazhbog (likely as holy trinity) but that's unlikely as it appears as individual deity in many scriptures. Triglav is also the highest mountain in Slovenia and you can also find it in Slovenian coat of arms.
Especially Slovenian? Really? It's Southern Slavic tribal mythology, and you Slovenians can buzz off with your tiny tomb raiderian fingers... Stop proclaiming something that is not yours.
and now we know they revere some form of Slavic deities too (Slavic but not 'Russian' we should add) .. so that's not going to be a coincidence. Perun, Veles, etc .. we're looking at an Odin/Thor/Loki godhead (Slavic and Nordic pantheon being same and from same proto-Indo-European root). Triglavians understanding of the universe verges on an almost Hindu cosmology .. and yes there is a strong 'elementalist' facet to their beliefs. sky, earth water .. life vs entropy ... 'the struggle'. Very interesting. According to their message .. they're 'testing' us .. to see if we are worthy to be in their space.
@@raverick187 you live to the north-east of the slavic empire, why do you bother? i think you are just mad, because your country doesnt have a Triglav named mountain in it
I love how the Scope lets us get updates in a way cooler way then any game I’ve ever played. Are the ships in this and the footage from actual players? That would be so cool.
These npcs are ridiculously tough, if might just be me but I couldn't defeat any of them when I went to a high - sec triglavian site. I have a battleship, and had to warp out before they got the better of me
10/10 how this is presented, even tells you what concord did in the encounter, encouraging you to do the same to survive, Seems really scairy not being able to go back only forward :D Good luck out there capsuleers
Is this real? After 15 years we FINALLY get some proper PVE content??? Please make it more complex than "warp in, kill all rats", 90% of PVE is already like that. PVE in EVE needs more depth and challenges.
I've been messing with it on SiSi. So far only lower end content is available, but it's pretty challenging even then. Only Cruisers can enter the pockets, and you're on a time limit. I believe either your ship and pod go pop when the timer runs out, or you get sucked back to k-space. AI is pretty good, but the enemy diversity isn't much in the first two tiers; there are going to be five though. There are also five types of sites, making for 25, randomly generated locations. Each type has different environmental effects similar to wormhole. Lots and lots of fast targets that require managing your transversal, and drone boats and missile ships have a counter this time in the form of enemy point-defense. There are other towers in the site that do things like give improved tracking to anyone within range, player or AI. I've also noticed that if you lead the small rogue drone enemies into the point defence radius they get shredded by it. The stratios and vigilant are amazing at these sites, and the new Vedmak cruiser; although the triglavian ships are just overpowered in general right now. Deffinetly don't think their stats are final.
Mutaplasmids are basically Vaal orbs in a nutshell. May RNGesus smile upon you so that your err.... 'corrupted' modules turn out better and not some unsellable piece of crap. ;)
So you're saying players actually found one of these ships without knowing what they were and proceeded to conduct in-game research which resulted in them finding a new dimension in the game? That's amazing.
How much you wanna bet that the Triglavians are actually escaping from something and actually another faction is chasing them, and the damage is actually a result of their battle
Groza Dallocort it’s from dust 514 actually . Laser rifle was a long range gun that required you to start it and put it onto your enemy after it ramps up. It was in a way the weakest and the strongest weapon in the game depending on who used it. Glad they brought the idea over to eve
Aha never played Dust 514 due to not owning a PS3 any how Amarr weapons are still lasers aka energy weapons those triglavian weapons are known as entropic disintegrators that will deal thermal explosive. Normal energy weapons deal em thermal.
OK wth how did the Concord cruiser communicate outside of its space-time? I mean considering they still used EM waves to communicate how is that possible would anyone please like to explain to me?
I think the entropic disintegrator should not form little turret like balls but should instead shoot a beam out of the big orb. This makes it so the attacking has to align to the target making it harder to use it.
I want work on this Develop group,it is already really science fiction!Enter into the game landing on the planet, infection with unknown diseases, mutations and dialogues between the mechanic and captain of the spacecraft type Star Trek
Actually, i think it's not possible for titans or even capital ships. Video precises cruiser ship size only pass by the initial input. So, on my opinion, the only vessels able to access will be frigates, destroyers and cruisers.
Omiganox Nox Yeah you are right. I forgot that it clearly said that careful maneuver needed to stay safe and the area is small. Then how the hell a fucking titan is gonna maneuver in those small pockets lol😂😂
Please don't bring enchantment into Eve Online CCP, please...instanced PVE to attract standard carebear MMOers, but not RNG bullshit, please - leave that to kids playing WoW
Great. So much for this being a PVP game where players influence the universe. This had turned into some lame grinding WoW BS where you walk throgh looping content grinding endlessly. Way to ruine Eve online CCP. You have always been good at doing exactly that. Wait.. whats this, more NERF's. Thought so.
