How much do I love this song? I love the sensuality and the drama of it. This is definitely one of many Prince songs that's part of the soundtrack of my life. I love it when Susannah goes into her spin and screams. Jerome was looking kinda sexy in his pjs. I remember in high school, after seeing this video, rushing to the thrift store and buying some vintage satin pjs and smoking jackets to wear to school. I was so on trend.....memories (SIGH).

THE 2 GOAT.....IN Detroit back in the 80s we had a dj The Electrifying Mojo who would have these battle of the artist. Or as he called it STAR WARS. Playing each artist songs. And at the end he would have callers call in and vote. Prince and Mj battles were classic. I cant remember who won the most, it didnt matter. Both them dudes were some BAD, gifted Mofos..and .Will be missed. RIP mj and prince . Heaven has to be Lit.

Haven't seen this video since it first came out back in 1985. Thanks for posting. Prince was such a musical force in the 80's (especially '82-87). The amount of brilliant material he wrote and recorded is just staggering.

The "bass" player is actually Eric Leeds, the sax player. There was no sax part on this song, so he got to "play-sync". Actually Prince plays all the instruments except for the strings.
