I’ve literally heard of the use of pantographs for years but today I get to see in 3d how it actually looks like

Good Job! The number one reason for using a pantograph, is you can adjust for visual distortion as the model builds. A computer our 5 axis router cannot judge for the fisheye distortion that is inherent when working up close to your model. I would think this would be one of your major selling points. Remember you are selling your judgement, not the technology. If you are working in resins that means you are probably working with a flexible mold. That will drive your costs exponentially. I suggest you try a plaster waste mold. Using water bound clay, and casting plaster over your clay. Moreover if you cast your statuette into plaster, there is nothing like to white of the plaster to demonstrate a flaw in your modeling. Nice studio, good instructions. Bravo.

Great video....thanks! If possible, please explain in more detail how you achieved an accurate measure of the points to be "1 inch below the actual clay surface". Thank you also for the reference to watch "The Sculptor's Funeral" ....on Podcast?? I will Google! :)
