Hi folks, Caitlin here.
A few years ago we completed work on the song cycle, 'Songs From A Spiritual Heart' Vol.3, setting to music eight poems from the works of UK poetess Jennie Ebbutt.
In general, Jennie wanted an 'otherworldly' ethereal/spiritual feel for the music & voice, to reflect the heartfelt spirituality of the poems themselves.
This hauntingly beautiful track, 'The Sea', aims to reflect her feelings of serene calm, awe & majesty when spending time near the ocean.
