I've actually been to Dachau. I never thought that a place could feel evil. Boy, was I wrong. Seeing a place like that in person gives you infinitely more perspective than a video or a book ever could.

My dads side of the family is Ashkenazi Jewish, and they were involved in the camps. Only my dada grandfather made it, and his 9 sisters and 2 brothers both died at Dachau. My dads grandfpa managed to escape on a boat to New York, and so thats what ended up happening. It's so heartbreaking to see this. Rest in power to all of the victoms.

I think that these “medical discoveries” were just a sick excuse to torture prisoners, which most of them did nothing wrong other than being born into a different culture. 😟

This made me cry. Imagine the terror and pain they had to go through, survivor or not. May these victims Rest In Peace.

Theres not a lot that I hear that disturbs me anymore, but this video did. I cant even imagine the pain and suffering these people endured. Just a complete tragedy.

It breaks my heart to think that these people had to suffer like this. My most sincere condolences and prayers to all families and relatives of the victims and survivors of this horrible event.

I visited Dachau in 2017 and never knew this and once you said the name my stomach sank. It was such a somber experience and now it’s hit even more. It’s unreal that there were houses right next to the camp and they turned a blind eye

Rest In Peace all the people who died in pain and suffering in those camps. We’ll always remember you, and the pain you had to endure. And to the survivors, you people are some of the bravest and strongest people out there, surviving the torture and telling your story and giving awareness to not let history repeat itself.

There was this woman who used to have a twin and they both took part in the twin experiment, luckily they both survived till the end of World War II. But years later her twin got kidney problems, they went to see a doctor and were shocked to see that her kidneys were still as small as a 12 year olds.

One of the victims was a 16 year old girl, that’s absolutely heart wrenching. My niece is 16, if anyone ever tried to hurt her I would have a hard time keeping myself from ripping them apart. I can’t even begin to imagine how anyone could ever harm a little girl, especially as grievously as their insidious experiments did.

Cant even imagine what they went through. The thought is just disturbing to the core. I pray for all the people that were suffered from the Nazis

I am so glad I wasn't born in this time period. There's no way I could handle living in those times.....

During one lesson, my high school teacher told us about her former teacher who survived the concentration camp and was experimented on. She had her bones repeatedly broken so the doctors could see how the bones fusion process looked like. She was very short due to those experiments. I can not even think how much pain those people came through and most of them, if they didn't die, were left disfigured. I visited Auschwitz this week, very chilling place.

This is horrifying. I'm recovering from a lung surgery that was done legit and humanly with anesthesia n'stuff... And I'm whining about post op pain???!!!👀👀👀 I can't even begin to imagine what these poor souls went through!!! One victim said death is better....i believe she was right 😞

My great grandma was captured by the nazis and taken to a concentration camp where she escaped and came back to poland. (Just felt like i wanted to share that)

Just a note, they NEVER used anesthesia. For ANY of the surgeries. Just imagining the pain that they went through is horrifying. RIP to the millions of victims of the camps. Truly unfathomable amounts of pain and torture, truly sickening. Although, we learned many new things about the human body. They found out using unwilling human test subjects, which is awful and never should've happened. But it's undeniable that many medical breakthroughs were discovered through these torture experiments, some more valuable than others. Probably the biggest was an experiment of sewing two twins together like Siamese twins. They survived 3 days and died a painful death. This lead to a Russian scientists who did the same with dogs, which survived for a little bit longer. But THIS lead to a man from South Africa who heard about both of these experiments, and completed the first successful Heart transplant, which has saved countless lives. That's just one thing, it's still beyond evil and wrong what they did, but it wasn't for no reason at all. Still no excuse

Really trying to realize that all of that actually happened to humans like you and me is almost unimaginable. How much suffering they went through. My great uncle died in a concentration camp every time I imagine him stepping into the gas chamber I’m done for.

Remember that Josef Mengele died of old age in Argentina. Never paying for any of his atrocities. Never forget.

This makes me sick. I can't even begin to imagine what kind of pain these poor people were put through and it makes me unfathomably angry that some of these "doctors" never saw even a night of prison time or punishment for what they did. Heck, some were even recruited by other countries to do work for them.

I visited The Dachau Concentration Camp in 1972. My gap year, fresh out of high school. To this day I still clearly see the rooms and equipment used where the experiments took place - and printed information on the types of experiments being done. The housing dorms had maybe 10 inches of headroom between the bunks. The “showers” mode my stomach turn as did the ovens. Actually the whole experience has been life changing.

whenever I hear of things like this, my heart just feels so heavy. during WW2, my grandmother (Romani) was almost taken to camp when she was a little girl. she passed away this year, I miss her more than anything, she was and will forever be my best friend.

My grandmother, Judit Brown, survived for 6 months one of these so called doctors, joseph mengle. She died last year, at the age of 86, and i miss her everyday. She raised me like she was mother and i will never be the same since losing her.

They never talk about how the Americans, Soviets and Chinese brought this research after the war, in "Operation Paperclip". Granting these same "death doctors" asylum in places like Argentina, who still boasts a large German and Italian population to this day.

Eva Kor. She was a Holocaust twin experiment survivor. I met her in June of 2019, one month before she passed. I traveled to her museum (in Indiana, USA) and sat in an audience of maybe 100 people that listened to her story and saw the museum, documenting the Holocaust and her journey. Her twin sister, Miriam and her were experimented on in Auschwitz when she was a little girl. Her sister died there and she managed to survive. Many, many years later she forgave the monsters that did these things to her. She met one of the doctors at the camp, 50 some years later, and shook his hand and she said “I forgive you.” “Forgiveness is a seed for peace. Anger is a seed for war.” - Eva Kor.

My grandfather survived and escaped and he used to tell us stories about his time there. He dies 2 years ago rest in peace grandpa

Though these victims who managed to survive, the wound of the horrible experiments conducted on them have left a deep scar on them physically and mentally, I hope that those who survived or passed on are free now

This experiment was also conducted by the japanese empire to korean/chinese/russian captives. One of the most famous korean poet was sacrificed by this experiment.

Everyone should just think about it: if you're ever sick, tired, hungry, freezing, in need of medicine, or no matter how severe ANY kind of pain (mental or physical) that you may have or be going through, these people have probably been through twice the agony. May those that died; may God forever hold them in his light, and for those who survived, you are an inspiration to people like me. Your survival makes me feel like regardless of how I feel today, I should be so Grateful to be alive. Even if every meal is beans and cornbread, I have so much respect for those people. I'm just a poor ole country boy from Tennessee, but y'all are my inspiration.yall are what I call tough. God bless y'all always.

As a father of twins, I have no words.

In order to prevent history from repeating itself we mustn't look at the horrors and look down on the people of the past, but try to understand how normal people could end up doing such things!

And the fact that there are literally horrible people who try to say none of this ever happened is so sad..

My friends grandfather was a twin experiment survivor. He was in a concentration camp with his cousin who looked very similar to him and they thought that if they were to say that they were twins they would be experimented on and then released which was not the case but eventually the war ended and they were released.

And the "wiggling" and "moving their head around" sounds more like the throes of pain and death, thrashing around from pain unimaginable. I love how these people always talk or write about these things in a way that minimizes emotion and makes it not seem so bad. That wasn't, "wiggling" folks.

Not only is it hard to realize this really happened, its even harder to realize that some outcomes of these experiments really helped our knowledge in the medical field which we benefit up to this day.

The worst kind of horror and inhumanity. Even when presented in a cartoon format, the utter brutality is sickening.

Once I got surgery for Biopsy without Anesthesia and it was the most horrible pain I have ever had. I can't even imagine the situation of these people that died or became disabled from these monstrous "expirements".

Half way through I wanna stop cause I almost gonna throw up, but he kept saying history repeats itself if we didn't know the facts, so I continued. TWICE, I felt like I can't watch this anymore I feel so sick. But, again, I need to know the facts. Finally, I finished the whole video. And my god, what a journey.
