Man! I used to skate these midtown spots all the time when I was 17.. that's 20 years ago.. I'm so glad to see it's still the same ambiance of skating from one spot to the next, taking the subway when we were tired, eating garbage snacks instead of lunch, playing cat and mouse with security guards and just staying out all day long way into the night !
I liked just seeing them cruise around NY, gives you an insight of just cruising around there, but just cruising out there with all that trafic looks already too sketchy for me haha
SuperDuperMontage it’s actually not that bad. Traffic is backed up most of the time and the cars usually are not going fast at all so it’s easy to cruise around them
I love how they incorporate early 90s street to 2018 with their own 100% natural style street skating. I started in 1991 when I was 10 years old so I know what it looks like and the Baker/ Deathwish/ Shake Junt family is the best in my book.
Shredmaster Keith has the flowiest, most effortless style. It's like dancing I love it. And dudes so young he's gonna rip still after 30 years from now damn just beautiful
Im getting back into skating (i skated through my teens and early 20s...im 35 now) ...its cool to see all these new shape boards people ride, even at my local park people are riding old school looking boards...also love the videos, they keep me motivated
this just randomly popped up in my recommended. watched the whole thing-- was super entertaining just watching that dude cruising the streets fucking around with fakie flips and slappy grinds. whoever that fool was sending tre flips with the colorful jacket was killing it too. good vibes in this, kind of felt like you were just watching actual skating. favorite part when t funk shit talked the vigilante in purple then overcrooked that gold rail. bonus points for Big L
I can't believe this channel is still sub 10K subscribers... someday we will all say, I remember when they were under a million... this channel is rad.
Can drivers in New York City ever go more than 20 mph? It seems perfect for skating, how some cars just go around shredmaster slowly; but like is NYC so congested you are always just slowly rolling up to the next light?- asking from la where old people try to run me over if I push in the bike lane
lil cocoa butta because the city is so dense, it’s damn near perfect for skateboarders, since theres heavy traffic. So the cars can’t go too fast, and if there’s no traffic, there’s stop lights everywhere. So you could sometimes skate to a spot faster than the car can get there next to you. As opposed to California where it is a bit more spread out. Only thing that I didn’t like about the skate scene in New York was when it got hella cold and snowing. Other than that, it’s my top place to skate. 2nd being California and 3rd Chicago.
East Coast skate life is the best. Guy at 16:24 is hilarious. The girl at the end..... lets all pray for that girls family who died at a young age. Sucks man. Scary stuff.
Who tf cares let the guy live. Also it’s nyc, the streets are already full of loud and crazy mfs especially the subway is a guy blasting his music on speaker really gonna make a difference?
