Your enusiastic metal detecting expedition was extremely successful even with the heavy winds. The pin from a tank turret position. Huge piece of metal from a Panzer hatch door. That insulator for electrical system equipment. The Luftwaffe 20mm Flak cartridge spill was an amazing find. Couldnt believe how many you found . That one cleaned up nicely. Be careful HH digging around, you don't want to hit a live one. Definitely evidence of a Flak gun having been situated there. They do tell their story. That was very interesting HH. Thanks for sharing.

Yet another great adventure, I just can't understand why some people hit he dislike button, what's not to like? It's great to see what can be found still in the ground after 70 years! It's great to see that history is still there to be shared with people, I work with two young girls of 19 and 21 and I ask them what they know about the war and when it started and why and they don't have a clue!! Not that I am old, I'm only 36 but it's One of the biggest conflicts in history and one day it will be forgotten, it's people like you that won't let it be lost forever to the history books so thank you again for another great story! Look forward as always to another great adventure! Just don't leave it so long...😉

In regards to the brass case 20mm mixed in the iron/steel ones, it is probably a tracer round that was used to help aim the rounds toward the target. Usually 4 or 5 regular rounds loaded in the belt then one tracer. Results being able to watch the tracers fly and there was those others in between. Thanks for the videos!

VERY interesting channel and it has become one of my favorites because I love WW2 history. I just bought a detector and there is something that I don't understand about the hobby. Once I find a few good examples of a relic I don't feel the need to keep any more and will cover them back up for someone else to find. I see people going nuts over civil war bullets when they have hundreds of the same thing back home. A few of each different kind and caliber would make me happy.

Very nice finds! I have something very similar around me aswell. If know what the "Felsennest" is, thats where I 2km away :D and at the end of the war they had a lot of supply routes that went through there to the Ardennes and the allied bombed a lot+a lot of german FlAK here aswell haven't found any but already a bayonet and american casings for the M1 Carbine and M1 Garand weapons, though I hope I can find so many FlAK casings as you :P even if they're just steel like a full clip of M1 Garand training ammo I found yesterday :)

The electrical piece you found looks like a light fixture that would be on a pole or exterior wall of a building. Until people go out and start a search for history or anything else, they will never know the excitement of finding the items they are looking for. I find items that are worthless but the excitement of the search is what I love. Could the 1940 shell be a reload and that’s why it’s mixed in with the others? What a great find.
@WW2HistoryHunter

i think it could be a reload as they often did that. Specially at the coastal artillery locations. Thanks Anthony.

My wife laughs at some of the things you say and loves your interaction with Eagle Eyes. I told her that’s why I like your videos. Your just a regular guy out looking for history. Your not a know it all guy and we learn together. Am still amazed at how you recognize so many items before they are cleaned up. Nice find on the button. The cartridges and shells you find in very bad condition, do you keep them or dispose of them? There must have been a flak gun at that location with all the cartridges your finding. It’s like Christmas morning for you. Very nice location.

I'm so jealous of you right now ! I would love to be able to do something like this but alas although we did have a battle here it's now under water ! The Battle of Bigger Creek was a Confederate victory over a Union troop of black soldiers. It was a 3 day battle by Confederate General Stand Whitie and his Cherokee troops against a troop from Fort Gibson who were there to harvest wheat and grasses for feeding horses at the fort. The battle took place in mid July and temps here come get over 100 for days at a time, which it did. The yankees were caught with their pants down and had only their pistols and little water. This was prairie then and nearly devoid of trees. They captured the Union horses and killed nearly all the Union troops. Unfortunately, the creation of Grand Lake in the 1940's flooded nearly the entire area and the site is almost forgotten. I'm sorry if I've bored anyone but this is still a piece of history and those in Europe might enjoy something they would never hear about.

I am in Iowa, USA and I found that interesting. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. Not very many people know that we actually had a Cival war battle in Iowa. The actual fighting did come that far north.
