floor is 6-11, ceiling is 12-5. Depends how quickly we get used to new scheme and if Mike Mcdonald can really transform the defense and stuff like that. I'll say 9-8 again, as much as it pains me. This time we make the playoffs though.
The obsession w going for QBs and position players left a lot pf diamonds in the draft well beyond their position. Particularly on defense(I know Haynes isnt that but just expoinding a lil)
Don't forget Mike Morris who was hurt for all but the first half of the first game. He was hurt in the pre season. I think he will be great against the run. I hope Coby Bryant has a good camp at safety. I think because he can play nickel which makes him multiple a Macdonal used adjective, gives him a chance. He is a pretty good player who was the fourth safety even though Jamal was still recovering from one of the worst injuries. Did you know for four months he needed help going to the bathroom. I think everybody knows it didn't workout but it wasn't for a lack of courage
@pixledriven no maybe Revis but not prime it could even be Woodson and I'm biased af there might be a guy from early 2000s im forgetting too but you're out of your god damn mind
Let's hope the defence pay at a level that allows Geno the freedom to play to his strengths, ie plenty of quick, short passes over the center to JSN with the bomb to DK or Locket when it's there. Take away the pressure and Geno will thrive.
If we can stop the run this season, the sky's the limit for our defense. If we stay healthy on the offensive line and give Smith time to throw, we should be able to make the playoffs.
Fr man. Nothing worse than all a rush of new fans just when we’re good. Never forget when we finished last in 2021, when we’ve missed the playoffs for a few years in a row now.
I think geno is going to snub us a lot especially if we make it to the post season i want another qb to come up in seattle next season i think seattle could get 12 wins even if they get swept by SF but i just know this team is going to let me down especially around the 7-13 week area where we'll lose games we're not supposed to doing stupid shit like not running the ball or not being able to stop the run I just have a bad feeling
@earthatom7 bro geno missed EASY passes last year and even in his "comeback" year geno killed drives and momentum by fucking up check downs that system qbs make every time geno is not our guy I want him to be the guy but he's not him bud I promise you this team is capped by his ceiling which to me is in the playoffs I don't see geno in a championship game or a superbowl ever
@earthatom7 for example vs the ravens where Mcdonald came from Geno got 0 first downs 0 let me put that in caps for you ZERO FIRST DOWNS the worst redzone offense in the league and scored an average of 17 points on offense the only fucking reason seattle scored 3 points vs the ravens was witherspoon being a god damn stud getting a pick that put us in the redzone where geno proceeded to go 4 and out. Vs the giants we got a pick 6 without that seattle loses to the giants geno is dog shit bro
Geno haters, what do you want from the guy? He's a back 2 back Pro Bowler and top 15 QB last year with a banged up OLine and an enemic Waldron/Carroll playbook. The guy was over 75% in play action plays but the Seahawks playbook didn't do anything for his strengths which is in rhythm passing.
He’s not a bad player he just isn’t the answer at quarterback he flounders at the most important parts of the game. It’s one thing Russell Wilson was extremely good at.
I agree with most of what you're saying... Seattle made some good moves and have some good offensive weapons..... except at the QB! This is a really talented team which is why they parted ways with Pete...but you can't overlook the clearing hole at QB. The QB is the most important position on the roster... this is where they suck.... Don't hate... just pointing out the obvious
Sure Geno isn't a top 10 QB but he definitely doesn't suck. Plus even if Geno isn't the answer the coaches clearly see something in Sam Howell. One of the big problems last season was our offensive line (specifically interior), these new additions to the roster hopefully will fill that hole.
@@pilz1604 I'll agree with that...the offensive line wasn't top 10 by any means, but you still have a good RB, TE, WR...if you only had a good QB....the reason for letting Lock go is because he's no spring chicken...he definitely has a higher upside that Gino, but the latest addition is younger and has more technical upsides... meaning Lock 2.0 and younger. Gino still sucks and I'll be shocked to see him in a starting role after this season... when you look at Lock vs Gino in the same game (small sample size) Lock is the better QB... against the same team, the same D, the same everything... Lock is the better player... maybe with the next staff we will get better results.
@@juniordior4666 No, Gino sucks....he has an elite WR corp and a decent RB, and TE isn't bad....Gino just sucks at making clutch decisions....he is also afraid of taking a hit... you can't have that kind of guy leading a team.
Really???? Wow dude! You the first 12 who I have ever heard that from. Are you even really a Seahawk fan? DK is going to be in the hall of fame one day! And is so fun to watch! He is incredible! Why do you hate him??
I'm sure our opponents would agree with you ! But then , you probably aren't a hawk fan so ...... If you are then please explain how letting him go isn't the dumbest move ever ! By the way, to avoid negative replies you should explain your reasoning first ! Otherwise you leave people to wonder !
Wait what, about Pete Carroll? He was a great motivator and talent evaluator earlier, but his only COY voting finishes in his 14 Seattle years were 3,4,5, and a 6 (oh and after they changed the voting system, a 9). He was *widely* regarded as one of the better guys during the week, but when the game clock was running, not necessarily one of the top ten guys you want calling the shots. Just, so, so... SO many wasted challenges and timeouts over the years. It was brutal to watch that aspect of the game as a Seahawks fan, even if it was rarely what made the difference at the final horn. But he'll get to Canton anyway and I won't complain. :D
Being very neutral at this point... I have NO IDEA what to expect and I can't believe there are predictions without seeing how all of this gells together. Hoping for the best.
