You managed to do in 34 mins what most horror movies cant accomplish in 90 mins. Awesome work, great ending, great realistic dialogue. Excellent :)

Thank you! Our favourite of ours is this one, The Secluded House. We are currently working on new ideas and projects and believe if we were to do a horror again, it would be the best we've done so far!

I've been watching a lot of "Found Footage" horror films lately and have always been a fan of the genre and this one has been the best one I have seen on RU-vid so far! It's great, the atmosphere you created makes the scares very effective - I gasped a couple of times and was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I hope you will continue to do horror films and will browse the other films in your channel. Keep up the great work, you've earned yourself a new subber.

Found footage films are one of my favorite genres, but it can be trying to find ones worth watching. This film is a fine example of where the big budget films need to go and learn a few things. The dialogue was organic, none of the silly: here it comes music, no elaborate equipment and none of the ridiculous looking over made ghosts. Very well done and A great viewing experience!

That was awesome for an independent film! I loved the sound effects and cinematography, it was well done! Excellent location too.

The acting is great and so believable. This is how 4 young kids would act if they were making a RU-vid video. At times I forgot they were even acting

Damn the part @ 7:10 where the dude randomly said "boo" scared me. 😂

The high pitched ullulating sound just before 14.00 is a red fox they do this when they are squabbling about food, and it's about the 10th time I've had to point this out. Try living in London you'll hear this 10x louder every single night! They can alter the pitch till it sounds like human screams and they can hold the scream noise for ages it sounds like a torture chamber. They are not usually hurt just histrionics to make bigger foxes feel sorry for them!

I love this one and the museum project to they were both good I love documentary found horror movies keep up the great work.

This is good, had me feeling jumpy. The actors were convincing. My only complaint - wasn't on long enough. More scary films please, lots more :-)

Brilliantly done! I've watched many 'found footage' films & can honestly say that this is one of the best. The atmosphere was great and you made it look easy. I nearly had a heart-attack around the 30 minute mark! This was the perfect length & there were no 'slow' bits, as far as I'm concerned: I also liked the way that we didn't get much background on the house and went in with the same amount of information that the protagonists did. Sorry for rambling on but I was genuinely surprised by this film! One question- did you choose 'Cane's name on purpose?!

Found footage film are my favorite types of films

As found footage horror goes, this wasn't bad. I got the chills when they finally found Kane and were leaving for the car. Would have liked to know more about the legend of the house though.

This is the most authentic-feeling FF film I've ever watched...mostly due to it being so heavily under-produced (which is understandable, given the working budget these guys have). 4/10 on the "show, don't tell" rule of creep factor and visual scares, 7/10 for the amount of rolling shots, with minimal cuts, And 12/10 for naturalistic representation of what it is actually like to go tomfoolering around the bush/country/derelict locations at night with a group of Aussie boys in their early 20s. From the good-natured high spirits at the outset; to the scariest part of the film being the anxiety of watching them heedlessly tromping around rotten floors in the dark; to everyone slowly having less and less fun, and asking the important questions ("Why are we still filming?!") but still no-one wanting to be the first to explicitly say, "Actually, this sucks and we should have given it a miss - I'm scared, anyone else?" The lad-ly energy was spot-on. Nice work, gents. I'll be sharing to all the boys I went adventuring with, on those recklessly fun trips, myself. :-)

I really enjoy this and in some scene it pop the scare shit out of me lol. I did expect the scare and still I was still able to be scare. Acting is 100% accurate and I wish you guys could put more into this film or a bit more little longer ending.. I hope you guys can make a second film to this. This is so FUCKN AWSOME

That was great guys, I loved it but I wish we were able to see what was causing you to be so spooked in the film. Though it does leave more to the Imagination of what it could of been.

I really liked this one. Subtle, had just few enough jump scares to catch the audience off guard, little needed to be explained, and left with a good mystery!

That was actually pretty enjoyable. It very slowly built suspense and kind of kept hold of it throughout. The scares had a good tempo and were not overplayed at all. Well done!

congradulations this deserves way more views ii swear.this brought tears 2 my eyes as i watched you have 2 let me write some material for you guys please this is what real horror is made of.

This was incredible. I usually complement small micro budget movies on the basis of being good for that particular medium. This one was well produced and was better than most hollywood style horror. The scares werent super jump scary they were not just startling they were frightening. That is something most films simply miss. There is a big difference between startling people with a loud noise or sudden movement of the camera but scaring them is totally different and much harder, you managed to scare me

I liked it as an actor I can tell this was a fun shoot. :) pretty cool plot and characters all melted together perfectly.

Nice work. A few more jump scares would be nicer though. Here's some ideas off the top of my head, maybe you might like: 1. Mysterious symbols, satanic imagery 2. A little bit of back story about the place 3. More artifacts like toys, junk etc lying around 4. You enter a room with things in a certain order; when you come back after some time, the position of objects mysteriously changed 5. More things falling (or flying) like tin cans, buckets, etc 6. A kind of seance to rid the place of evil You might or might not like, but just some food for thought :)

Love found footage, this was awesome guys! great atmosphere and the effects were subtle but scary.

Ooga-booga! I know what a pain in the arse it is just putting films together, so you definitely get points for effort. 'Tis said that (most) movies are made great or otherwise in the editing room, and I reckon you could have trimmed this down another 10 minutes. Lots of just swinging lights here and there, the ol' "What was that?!", and I think I did have an unintentional laugh when someone said, "Why are we still filming?", so, sorry about that. I don't know if it was deliberate or not, but if you have a character called Kane, he's the first one to cop it, both in this, and Ridley Scott's 1979 classic, Alien. If so, then well done. I liked it!

Reading the comments before viewing? well here's a quick description. It's your usual 4 guys videotaping and documenting going to an abandoned building with a haunting or horror past. They start exploring the building scaring each other laughing it out and then they start to hear noises see shadows and get totally spooked out until one by one they get killed and of course the one with the camera is the last one to die. If you like this kind of movies like I do 😱then it's worth watching 😊👍

I do not normally like "Found Footage" films, but this one was pretty good. I think the best part was it wasn't filled up with a whole bunch of crap, just to the house, bad shit, and the end. Well done.

Just found this little gem and liked it heaps more than I thought I would. Found footage films usually give me the s**ts. The actors were awesome and there is nothing like the sound of an Aussie getting the crap scared out of them. Great work guys!!
