Bfr I got married my mother in law had a son and a daughter. Her son got married to me. N now my mil has 4 kids😂😂😂😂 ( previous 2+ me + my son)... she s da sweetest person. She manages all 4 kids very well 😘😘

This only had a happy ending because the son didn't allow his mother to behave or overreact unjustly because of a simple misunderstanding. Unfortunately in most Asian/ Deshi communities men behave like cowards when it comes to their moms, these men(Boys) would rather stand back and pit his wife against his mother or vise versa. The son in the video is a definition of a man and not a boy. Unfortunately we are living in a Deshi (Bengali, Indian, Pakistani) community where grown men still behave like boys in the presence of their mother(momma can't be WRONG EVER), men like them who lack maturity to behave justly should never get married. And father when marrying of their daughter must take extra care in making sure that their daughters end up in home that aren't bias for any reason.

Beautiful it happened to me when I lived with my in-laws. Everything I did was wrong and called chamaar because I was from different culture a Hindu girl marrying into a Muslim family but my husband was always there for me and eventually my sincerity won their heart and loved by all as my brother-in-law who married his cousin showed her true colors even though she was treated like their own. There were many nights I cried myself to sleep having given tears to my family for bringing shame upon them but my husband’s love helped me through difficult times.We have supported them in every way we can which is highly appreciated now. Sometimes in-laws do not realise what they are doing is wrong until it happen to them

Thank you for making this film. In the context of modern society , it perfectly underlines the difference between a daughter and a daughter in law. Daughters have become like princesses today's time. The apple of everyone's eyes in the family. Hence everything about them is loved more. Perhaps even more than the sons , the rajdulara betas. Parents to elder siblings put up with their tantrums , those cute little expressions and dramas they come up with downright to a simple smile. But a daughter in law has a different , an uphill task altogether. Mind you she too has already lived through the above scenario at her place. She has to move to a new home , adapt a new lifestyle and family , treat them as her own ; care for little brother / sister in laws like her own children. Why such stark contrast ? And as long as we keep such double standards a daughter in law can never become like our own daughter and our daughters can never become someone's daughter in law. Maturity is expected , yes. Completely fine. You cannot relive your childhood all over again just because you have moved to a new place. And hence the margin for error will always be lesser than that for a daughter. So it becomes equally important for in laws to become patient as it's important for daughter in laws to realize that they can never have the same opportunities. What we really need to do is be a bit stern with our own children , sons or daughters. And give someone else's son or daughter a little more time. Life lessons will not consider parameters like your age , experience , understanding etc first. They'll strike you like a hard slap across the face without a warning and then maybe will spare you some time to comprehend what you just learnt. This is not to undermine the role that daughters play compared to their in-law counterparts. Just an observation of what hasn't changed despite the changing times.

I have seen many short videos on this issue and have faced it as well. I believe this clip had a positive side and showed how one can tackle the situation rather than addressing the issues that we all know happen in the household. We can all say that in real life this doesn't happen and go on about behaviour of the man of the house till the cows come home. But Look at the larger picture, it won't change in a split second but it is a start. To communicate better with the members of the family. I liked the positive energy in the clip and it is a new begining, new times, change is around the corner only if you ready to walk all the way there..

It barely happens in real life. Although daughter in law is of their daughter's age, she is treated like someone who should know everything beforehand. Otherwise petty flaws and issues are pointed out. Her intentions are always doubted. A lot of dutifulness is expected from a new member which is unrealistic. This very irrational behavior of the in laws is creating degradation of families. But they don't realize it and aren't ready to change. There is no problem with son sleeping till 9 but daughter in law has to wake up early..else she gets criticized...No aporeciation..no consideration...is not even allowed to fall sick..else faces hostility for not being able to do household work. Mother in law is not to be blamed here. Patriarchy is the culprit. We all are victims of patriarchy.
