I have fun when i play against meta still in stage 1... i especially have a lot of fun when they dont read supernova dragon, bystial dis pater, chaos angel or Red Reign.

I can't stress enough how funny Danny calling in was. We finished up Sub Replay Friday and then got alerted that Joseph was pivoting to Runick Stun; a sure sign of mental deterioration.
Duelist Cup stage 1 is great bc you can farm gem using deck you actuallu own and know how it work.. I hate festival event that i cant participate bc dont have any deck to play..

Wow! Much sanity! Very summon. Also amazing how limiting all the floodgates just encouraged all the Stun players to just run them all simultaneously and brick themselves along with everyone else.
Yet, people are doing it and especially streamers are spending countless hours broadcasting the game ... From a corporate's perspective, these events aren't going half bad. They get lot's of attention and advertisement! Furthermore, from Konami's perspective, it might seem that the playerbase is complaining regardless what they do ... The only feasible way to make changes happen is to collectively not participate, I guess.

Back then when I'm still playing mmo one of my guild mates got hospitalized because he went too hard from grinding, do cygames care about it? No and the man himself doesn't regret it. This cup was SO FUN to play in. I totally didn't rage quit in phase 1 after i got ranked down from 19 to 18 because i got paired against mathmech, mathmech, purrely always going second. Man I LOVE this even, konami should totally not change it in the slightest
4:48 I must admit, while I’m happy MBT is getting a sponsorship from ATLUS, it makes me question if P5 Tactica is doing well and they just want to get it out there more, or if its selling poorly and they’re trying to increase sales.
I can't speak for the sales, but for me personally, as a fan of both tactics games and Persona 5, I never really felt any impulse to buy the game. It looks like a watered down version of both of these things I like, and if I was looking for that, I'd be playing any one of a thousand gacha games that already exist, many of which have alreafy crossed over with Persona. I'm a huge Atlus fan, but this was a miss IMO.
@@halowaffle25 I think its pretty damn good personally. I come from a Fire Emblem background more so than the standard tactics game (or at least the one tactica is trying to replicate the most), and I have yet to find issue with gameplay's complexity level. Maybe to someone who has played xcom or FF Tactics it might be a downgrade but I don't know enough about those games

I decided to run Pit Knight earlie seeing how many Branded players there were on your DC run stream. First game of stage 2 its a branded player and they walked right into the Earlie trap I set.
I made it to DL20 with only Suship then immediately stopped LOL. Actual pain and suffering. Funnily enough I hated playing into Spright and Branded/bystial the most.

I love how much the duelist cup bring out the one bad day decks cus no one wants to put up with this terrible event. Hell I got to 15 and called it a day got all my challenge gems and dipped.

Dlv max with nouvelle, master 2 with nouvelle Last season. Learn your deck correctly not just 3 maxx c and 3 ash blossom in every single deck without calculating the math.
It's pretty fucking dire when I am playing sword soul just because I don't want to play the game for longer when I'm on my fun rogue combo decks They made me want to play more games in less time.
Dc cup has been miserable so far. It shows the worse of not banning maxx c and not having a specific best of 1 banlist I dueled someone who made a 60 card tear branded deck that managed to puppet lock and winda lock me in the same turn

They get pissed when you point out that any runick build, even their precious furhire build, is just degen mill bs. The archetype should never have been released.
During this DCup i can't even reach DLV max. Once i got to 19 i always swung back and forth between winning and losing without any sign of improving. When things seemingly went good for me, the game suddenly gave me brick hand, or went second against Kash no interruption. Majority of my losses in DCup is because i cannot out Arise-Heart. And there's also Maxx C.

This format is so peak that stun is a legitimate pick, because it doesn't lose to Shifter, Droll or Maxx C and nobody has room for backrow removal spells. IT'S PEAK FELLAS, IT'S PEAK! I tried 4 decks kinda, could barely crack into 10k. PUNK dies to all three. Trap and furniture Lab just don't cut it, they're not explosive enough and the floodgates they play don't hit the right decks hard enough. Branded was fine, but said hand traps aren't really ideal and you can't fit a lot of non-engine, so going second into stun or build-a-board shit like Dlink and Mannadium sucks ass 90% of the time. This format is whack, it was so tilting to try taking this format seriously. It made me want to jump off of my roof in Fortnite.
I was doing so well on the first day, got 17k points, 2nd day got to 39k, and then 3rd day I just straight up brick every hand or meet some cheesy ftk or stun deck. my score got tallied to 7k points. I gotta learn when to stop.
Dude this was me just trying to go from Dlv 18 to Dlv 19 with Kashtira, a “good” deck. I don’t think I have the emotional fortitude to withstand the horror that is DC Stage 2. My phone and laptop would probably end up in a million pieces while my vocal cords got sent to the Shadow Realm
Right! And the coin flip RNG was even more fucked than usual for me. ~20% heads in over 200 games. Had one stretch where I had 13 tails in a row. 9 times I had my level up match to 19, and every time tails.
@@ShiroiKibaI can literally gave you a replay where I play vaylantz and still beat kshatrira despite it hard counter pendulum decks by blocking scales, keep in mind going 2nd. there are some matches where I'm losing miserably yes but most of the time by learning your deck engine and master their match up will gave you more win.

And here I though playing Magikey Libromancer was enough punishment, even though it was the most fun I had in the No-Fun Cup - A.K.A "Deez Cup". I didn't reached DLv.MAX in 50 Duels, in face my peak was 17. I saw that Danny's Call live and it was worrying, now I know why. What a nice young man, protect him at all costs.
A few weeks ago I decided to finally craft three Advent of Adventure and only play Floo in ranked and the DC. Is really refreshing when duels are not constantly decided by the mini game. Also, Evenly Matched has been performing extremely well.
