Wrong. There is no Ethiopian jew. This is a total fabrication. Black people don't belong to the Abrahamic religions at all. G.D. communicates with them through different channels.
@skp8748 It's not just the Ashkenazi. You need to look into Arab supremacy and how the slave trade of black Africans even started - the Arab Slave Trade. And then look into the Quran scripture that has instructed them to do that to black people. Horrific racism throughout the Quran and Hadiths. It's not only lighter complected people who engage in racism against black people. Just do a search here on RU-vid for "Arab supremacy" then do one for "the Arab Slave Trade." You'll quickly stop engaging in racism and antisemitism against the indigenous Ashkenaz of the Levant who were forced to wander outside their homelands for millenia. (That of course is not to defend anyone who does engage in racism, but you'll be way harder pressed to find a racist Ashkenaz than a racist Arab - those ideals were put onto the Ashkenaz by Europeans and Arabs). I as a Jewish Ethiopian want to tell you that everything you said is truer I was already born in Israel but my parents were born in Ethiopia and they always tell me and my brothers only parts of this terrible journey. I remember that at my school I wanted to do my final thesis in history about the journey from Ethiopia to Israel and that when I finally heard the whole story I just couldn't help but cry even now that I'm writing this letter I can't help but cry. What they went through sounds like it was taken from a book. Both of my parents immigrated to Israel at a very young age. My mother was nine years old and my father was twelve years old and they just lost so much. because they simply had nothing to eat or drink by themselves. They almost died there in Sudan. It's just amazing how you did it so well.

I remember this quite well. I was about the age of your parents and living at the time in Northridge and going to a Jewish school. Our Rabbi who was a pilot told us that he would leave for Israel to rescue Ethiopian Jews and therefore we would not see him for some time. He told us to be very quiet about this because the press should not be made aware of this because they would wreck everything (which did happen in the end). We did not tell anyone about it and then we heard about it in the news. It was incredible! And then when I went to Israel I saw all these beautiful Beta Yisrael and was happy that they came, even if it was not easy for them.

@@stephanieadams9702 Did you know that some of the Jews had to claim to be Christians and hide their real belief? While what you said might be possible, the reality is that most Jews who had "converted" to Christianity were truly practicing Judaism in secret. When the opportunity arrived, they no longer needed to hide the truth.
@@stephanieadams9702 To state that “none of them practiced Judaism when they were back in Ethiopia” is simply false. There is well documented evidence that shows that Ethiopian Jews had to hide their practices during heights of persecution, just like with European Jews. However, Jewish communities from American to England to Israel all agreed that Judaism was being practiced in Ethiopia at that time.
The conflict between the Ethiopian Christian monarchs and the Jewish monarchs can be understood as a disagreement rooted in religious beliefs. It is important to note that both groups share a common ancestry, as the first Christians were themselves Jews. Therefore, it is not a matter of racial division, but rather differences in belief systems.
Exactly not to mention how the Judaism queen 👸 Yodit destroyed the country long history turned to ashes many historical records of pre Christianity and Christian monarch of Eritrea to central part of Abyssinia destroyed by her yet she portrayed as hero but of of course it’s not surprising
As an Ethiopian I strongly oppose the fact that you claimed Jew descendants had been persecuted here! That is false! Ethiopia had been under monarchy rule for 2 millennia! And those monarchs strongly believe that they are also descendants of the Jew origin and much respect for Jerusalem and Jew culture. Even the cultures of the Jews are still incorporated all over the country: Sons of Ethiopia are circumcised, Saturday is still holy, no one eats those forbidden things listed on the old testament ... Moreover we feel bad for the way Israeli treat Ethiopian Jews as strangers. And still more we think of them more Ethiopian than Israeli. And we still think they left Ethiopia to Israeli not because they hate Ethiopia but searching for Economic freedom that Ethiopia is poor and everyone of us need to leave the country!
The jews just want to go, Ethiopia was not confortable for them same for any other Ethiopian. Yeah the historical perspective is wrong, but they were separated

"Israelis: Are Ethiopian Jews part of the Jewish people?" certainly presents an intriguing query that forces us to reflect on the multifaceted nature of Jewish identity. While the title is engaging, it might unintentionally bring the 'Jewishness' of Ethiopian Jews into question, as though it's a matter open for debate. This is an important subject that deserves a thorough, evidence-based dialogue-one that not only explores the diversity within the Jewish community but also acknowledges the unique dimensions that Ethiopian Jews bring to this diversity. Historical Roots: Ethiopian Jews, known as Beta Israel, have a claimed lineage that dates back over 2000 years. The Bible itself contains multiple references to Ethiopia, further substantiating their claims of ancient Jewish heritage. Unique Religious Practices: Distinct religious texts and traditions exist within the Ethiopian Jewish community, some of which may even be considered older or more 'original' forms of Judaism. These practices not only validate their Jewish identity internally but also contribute a unique richness to the broader spectrum of Jewish religious life. Cultural Tradition: The Ethiopian Jewish community has preserved a robust oral history, which asserts a direct lineage from ancient Israelites. This tradition has been maintained even in the face of geographical and political isolation from other Jewish communities. Genetic Factors: While not the definitive factor for establishing 'Jewishness,' certain genetic markers shared between Ethiopian Jews and other Jewish communities serve as additional supporting evidence of their ancient Israelite heritage. Contrast with Ashkenazi Jews: To deepen this discussion, consider the Ashkenazi Jews, who comprise the majority in Israel and around the world. Unlike Ethiopian Jews, the Ashkenazi community has historical instances of conversion and primarily descends from converts in Central and Eastern Europe. Given all these aspects, the pressing question isn't so much whether Ethiopian Jews are part of the Jewish people. Instead, the question might be: How do the unique traditions and experiences of Ethiopian Jews broaden and enrich our collective understanding of what it means to be Jewish? Their story speaks to the resilience and lasting legacy of the Jewish people, which crosses boundaries of culture, geography, and time.
Oh man that makes your eyes water. To think for so long they were the only ones left, then to fight so hard to return home. They are Jewish and I hope all who wish to can return home one day 🕊️

I bet these poor Ethiopian Jews never in their wildest dreams thought that once in Israel, this same "saviour" was capable of exhibiting such extreme racism and oppression towards them. Today, Ethiopian Jews are living in a squalid and oppressed state in Israel and are not viewed as equal citizens under the law! It was not only by Queen Sheba, but also by Moses that inherited by marriage. And the Jewish of now with Ethiopia has Historical back ground in the bible. The Bible said in Numbers 21:1 " And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman." Therefore there Historical Background if you study Theology of HGL (Historical Grammatical and Literal), tha is good, but as for me becoming Jewish never bring to me save from my sin to confess as Christian that I believe in Jesus. I Mean to become a Jewish is not necessary for me as an Ethiopian. Why? because the bible said in the book of Galatian 3:28 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2Chorontian 5:17.
I knew a lot about the Ethiopian exodus back in the late 1980’s but I learned a lot more from this RU-vid. This is another prophetic example of the in gathering of the Jewish exiles from the 4 corners of the earth
I knew them very well in Ethiopia. They have no any technology or communication meanses in the highlands of Ethiopia. But they're identified by David's star 🌟 sign on the top of their rural houses and israeli flags on animal skins. When they hear that Israel is in war state, I remember all of them, including my elementary school classmates wanted to go to war for Israel. They're unfortunately not well studied. They're more patriotic for their dream homeland than some actually living in israel.
Another aspect of the Ethiopian Jewish story is what happened to them during the years of the Holocaust. Italy had colonized Ethiopia but the natives united and resisted Italian rule. These groups included Jews, Christians and Muslims. Mussolini wrote to Hitler asking if he had any ideas about how to overcome the resistance and Hitler advised him to generate anti-Jewish sentiment among the Christians and Muslims and flood the area with all kinds of vile ant-Jewish leaflets and articles touting the worst conspiracy theories. This succeeded in getting the Muslims and Christians to turn on the Jews and spend their energies against their Jewish neighbors and fellow countrymen rather than on the Italians. Unfortunately, it worked all too well, and the Ethiopian Jews were the second group of Jews (after the German Jews) to experience the affects of Nazi Jew-hatred.
So the Beta Israel are officially from Shevet Dan according to Rav Ovadia? Is official then. Unbelievable. There is so much i didn't know about the Ethiopian community. This is truly amazing.

Jew, Judah, Judaism, These three terms are all inaccurate transliterations.Europeans took over the land of Yisharal (Israel) and made up the term "Jew," replacing Yisharal, and forming their own religion (loaded with tradition aka Leaven) run by rabbis called "Judaism." Modern Judaism is not the Way of the Most High as seen in The Torah (Law/Scripture/Instruction). Yahudi (Heb.), means "one who worships/knows YaH." Yahudah (Heb.) is the correct transliteration It means to "know" YaH.

The compete story??? Read the history of how the Zionists came in and killed and robbed the Palestinians of their land. And the mistreatment of even Orthodox, Sephardic, Ethiopian. and Mizrahi Jews. The Ashkenazi Jews are supremacist, and even now are committing genocide in Gaza!
Keep in mind that Ashkenazi community didn't view Beta Israel’s as Jews. They demanded that all males go through circumcision again. Beta Israel held to the patrilineal descent as being Jewish not matrilineal. The practise of recognizing Jewishness was always through the father not the mother. The matrilineal concept was adopted during the first century of the CE.
The funny part is that Moses , Solomon, David all looked more like the Ethiopian Jews then the European azkenazi khazar converts. In Islam Solomon, Moses are all described as having dark skin. We don't know these whites, there is a reason that the Muslims after the establishment of Israel in the 1940's said " the Jews left black and came back white ". 😂😂

Israel grew as a nation in Africa (Egypt) so Israel has had an intimate connection with Africa for an extremely long time. @@Dominique03 A lot of them are. Let’s remember that because of Israel’s sins as a nation, they were scattered throughout the world. He states that the present Jews in Palestine are not true descendants of the Judeans, but rather decendents of the Khazars, 10 October 1954". Jesus describe himself as a "Judean from Juda" and not as Jew. In His book Freedman writes that the Talmud is form of Pharisaism, not as Judaism. The rituals and rights are based on the Talmud and NOT on the Torah. According to Rabbi Morris Kertzer in the article published in June 1952, stated that the Talmud is the TextBook used to train Rabbis. The Talmud has very little common with the Bible. Kertzer further states that the Talmud contains "63 books" which used to train rabbis and has recorded vicious and vile blasphemies of Jesus. between its covers. The Jews derived from Eastern Europe. Then they converted from Talmud to Judaism to become TalmudicJudaism. By Professor Walter Veith
Ethiopia was a strongly Jewish place but also extremely diverse. The entirely missed point in this video is that Jews and Zionists are not the same thing and the idea of Zionists deciding who is an authentic Jew is quite laughable, and Israel as a state discriminates against Africans, even force sterilizing them, and that there is a larger nation of Israel that is comprised of the people who keep the Torah and keep the commandments in earnest and do not participate in the secular ideas of Zionist ideology and are very much against the NEO-Bolshevist system of Israel.
@@AmethystEyes Perhaps, but the whole concept of messianism is quite ranging, many keep the commandments without a concept that a messiah is coming, in a person, moreso in a human heart shift where empathy is engaged and the healing of the nations takes places through a remembrance.

In another instance, it is a hard historical fact that Jews fled into Africa with the destruction of the Second Temple 70 A.D. The oral traditions of certain peoples in Africa attest to their ancestors fleeing into Africa during and after the destruction of the First and Second Temple.
Eldad the Danite was not even from Dan. He was a storyteller first and foremost. He claimed to be from Ethiopia, yet the Ethiopians spoke Ge'ez, not Hebrew. He only spoke Hebrew with some Arabic mixed in. Do you also believe the story that Black African cannibals, yes, your ancestors, fattened his friend and ate him????
@@secondexodus9105 Eldad claimed he was of the tribe of Dan, that is how the whole Dan nonsense started. So the Ethiopians claim to be from Dan. And there are no Abyssinians claiming to be of the tribe of Dan.
@@shainazion4073 yup 👍 i agree that the Dan stuff has been blown way out of proportion. Also the Sheba and Solomon stuff is not in the Biblical canon either.
