The Secret Lives of Rocky Mountain National Park’s Trees 

From a fellow tree hugger, this is my favorite video of your channel so far. During my first trip to RMNP in 2018, while hiking on the Hollowell Park Trail, I laid down on the trail and looked up at the aspen canopy for awhile then carefully made my way to an aspen and gave her a huge hug. My husband still laughs about it, but I will never forget it.

We enjoyed learning about your quirky neighbors! We too love the trees in RMNP. Yes, the Ponderosa Pines do smell like vanilla or butterscotch! Hope you do some more videos like this one. RMNP and Estes fan since 1987.

I too am a tree hugger/whisperer ~ I live in a woodland full of a variety of Pines, grandparents to juveniles. I walk thru them most every day 😊

I love this! My favorite trees in the park are the Ponderosa pines. Their stature, quirky shapes and wonderful smell are the epitome of the park for me.
