From 1985 to 2004, Eddie Murphy lived in the East Hill section of Englewood NJ in a house called BUBBLE HILL. That's a much different zip code (07631) than Englewood Cliffs (07632) or Alpine NJ.
Decent report. I lived in Alpine and surrounding areas for many years and have to say, it’s not all it’s cranked up to be. Lots of crooks and schnooks as homeowners, zero services which is why taxes are so low, and no school system. If you compare neighboring towns, like Cresskill, or Tenafly, where taxes are crazy high, it makes homes in Alpine look less expensive. A few other items: while some of the kids from Alpine go to Tenafly as you indicate, most go to Dwight Englewood. Final interesting stat: do you know what demographic and ethnicity are the longest living in the US? Answer: Korean women living in Bergen County, NJ! It’s true.
