From 1-10 how excited are you for Chaotic Gore Magala to be in Sunbreak?

One small correction about Chaotic Gore weapon affinities: you always have both the negative and the positive affinity numbers, meaning if the weapon has -25%/10% that means you have a 25% chance of doing a negative crit (which deals 75% total damage) _and_ a 10% chance to do a normal crit (which deals 125% total damage) Then, when you get the Frenzy and overcome it, what actually happens is the negative affinity on the weapon gets inverted to positive and added to the already present positive, separately from the affinity added by overcoming the Frenzy. So the above example would become +35% affinity base while you have the buff for overcoming the Frenzy.

One thing I’m super glad they added back is the glowing shagaru eye in chaotic’s final pink phase. They got rid of it in generations for some reason as well as the normal frenzy horn side looking a bit off. Overall this is the most hyped I’ve been for a dlc monster for a while. Edit: Also the title is a small bit misleading cause you mostly talk about chaotic gore magala and his positive aspects. Still a good video though!

I think the whole double negative and positive affinity idea is a really good one. Now that we have damage numbers I think it'll be really statisfying seeing your damage skyrocket once you overcome the frenzy. Sounds like a similar playstyle to valor style, limit your options (or in this case damage) until you so enough damage and then you go sicko mode.

I don’t think being angry is necessarily a requirement for a monster to have a variant. Just look at Azure Rathalos, Pink Rathian, and; yes, even Shrieking Legiana. Or even Coral Pukei Pukei. None of them are angry, but they *are* variants

These videos, where you talk about upcoming monsters and what their armor and weapons used to be like, are pretty cool. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but it would be cool if you expanded to the risen elder dragons, like seeing the trend of the new risen armor sets compared to the original ones, what type of skills we can expect from the new risen armors.

All of the magalas are in my top 5 mons of all time. Probably even number one. I do think it would have been interesting to see magalas frenzy monsters fight the afflicted monsters, but I can settle for what we got

Chaotic Gore Magola is in constant pain due to being trapped in that 1/2 form. Hunting it to put an end to it would be a mercy kill.
