This is what I've been saying for years now. If it's Disney Star Wars, just leave it alone. It's not worth my time, and shouldn't be considered cannon.

@@Shsj272 agreed. Well, not so much Kenobi, as it went against cannon from the start. But Mandolorian was awesome in the beginning. Had they not started trying to push the focus to a female, and away from THE Mandolorian… I might have forgiven the minor cannon issues.

Andor was excellent. Haven’t watched Solo, the Last Rey clip , Ashoka or that acolyte thing. So won’t comment

Andor was good. Mandalorian was mediocre. Kenobi and Boba Fett were bad. Ahsoka was terrible. I gave up at that point. Sounds like that was a good thing. And let's not even bring up the sequel trilogy.

Honestly, I read about TV all the time, even for the shows I don't watch. I like to know what's going on, but I don't have time for long, labored pans across an alien landscape and slow, pensive inner thoughts only to be followed by bad dialogue filled with exposition.

I also do this. Instinctively. For quite some time now. You see, for me there's only two Alien movies, two Predators, two Terminators, one RoboCop, etc. Of these new "modern" movies and series that have spawned lately, of all of them, I've only seen the first season of The Mandalorian, and even that I found overrated. Oh, I also saw The Force Awakens just to feel its pulse. It's absolute shyte. I haven't watched anything else. And I won't.

You're right. I'm remember liking the movie "Willow", but really didn't care much about the trailers for the sequel. Later, when I looked back at Disney+ it was gone. As if the sequel was never made.

@darkstar223 Why do children have to watch the show? If your target demographic is men over 30 and you choose to market to women and children, you might be bad at business and work at Disney.

I watch the reviews,listen to colleagues at work. Yet i wont watch... Reason being i found the beaviour of Stenberg/Headland & Kennedy during the diastrous press tour for this show appalling. Lecturing, trashing and blanket dumping on anyone voicing concerns a sexist-racist-bigoted-misogynist. Which over a week resulted in hate-baiting and all the other juvenile bs. After finishing my saturday night shift in the lab, this quiet fan who never said a thing cancelled Disney on the 2nd of June. Watching anything Star Wars related was a struggle so i took a break. This is how its been since... In my own point of view they reap what they sow and can wallow in their own folly now.

In 1977 my entire life was star wars. Legit. Empire was just as good or better. Ewok-land was a letdown, and the prequels were MEH. Since then I have not been invested emotionally. That said, allowing a lesbian activist to RETCON the story needs to be stomped hard, fast and completely.

Since we don't get any actual viewing numbers from Disney, we'll never know for sure... But I suspect The Critical Drinker's latest video with 3 million + views in a week is probably more views than the Acolyte got. Tadah! Headline : Drunk man in spare room with webcam beats Disney. He gets more viewers with a sharp wit and a bottle of whiskey than Disney gets for $180M (plus marketing costs). It's your world Loftus, we're just living in it.

I am watching it, because I actually like the show, but that's what I can't understand about all the negative reviews...it's just a programme, Star Wars is just a franchise, a series of movies which are, overall, very good, but it's not that important.
