Not often discussed, but I give you the quick details on the two bolts on the top of the E92's (and E90/E93) engine intake manifold plenum.

Actually, thems are torque adjustment bolts. If you need more torque from either of the wheels, like say you're on big oval track, and you crank the passenger side bolt open, it'll make you go to the left more, thus winning.

My dumb ass broke one off. That’s how I found out they’re not supposed to unscrew. They appear to be real bolts/nuts but there was a lot of, presumably factory applied, Loctite. I broke the bolt off inside the nut trying to unscrew it.

thanks! yeah I just try to get them quick and convey the info. in my case the bolt was broken with another owner. I bought mine used.

I HAVENT SEEN A V8 engine on the E92 since 2008 ; only the formidable enthusiasts know about this Technology- Please race a Mustang . Americans need to know, who invented the sequential transmission....
