You put too much emphasis on the positive aspects of the practice without warning people that one could easily have at best a very bad time and at worst a descent into madness with active imagination. Just read the circumstances in Jung life around the time when the red book was written. He pulled it off returning to sanity but not everyone is jung. Average people should not go deep into this without the aid of a trained therapist.

While imagination is very useful i agree, many of us drift away into it and forgot about the opportunities in the now, there is a gift in it, thats why its called the present
If consciousness is a fundamental component of reality and time on the other hand depends on perception, like some science is exploring, i'm not sure@@canonaler

Sounds like you’re in a state of hyper vigilance based on things you cannot control. Going within and cultivating your own inner peace and joy is the answer because then nothing can affect that
so when someone gets schizophrenia after what do you do as a "therapist" ? change humanity in what way ? do you believe in the creator and that he specifically said you need to trip balls and pay 1000$ to a guru to find me and change the world ?
