Not to mention hidden synergies between souls. Waiter skeleton and tiny imp is one such example. Taunts the monsters to grab the food, tiny imp always follows the plate too which focuses his damage on the target.
This is what I love about metroidvanias. These games reward players for exploring and using newly earned abilities to explore more is kinda addicting. Happy new year btw 🎉
I didn't really miss any rooms as far as I can remember. Although that's more of me attacking every wall that I think might have even a sliver of a chance to be breakable. In other words, I ran around attacking random walls like a crazy person.
Its hard to miss ''secret'' stuff in such a straightforward game, unless you rush/speedrun it. I mean lets be real, it was hard to miss back when the internet wasnt that much of a thing, let alone now.
Love how the Sherman's Ring is a mistranlation of the Japanese version. It's meant to be Shaman's Ring. This happened in Circle of the Moon where if you go to the optional Battle Arena area and make it to the end you can get the Shinning Armor which is a mistranlation of the Japanese version which is Shining Armor.
There's this place with a sword named Vjaya and it's unironically the hardest 'secret' in the entire game because of how forgettable it is. At the point when you get the Giant Bat ability to get it you can already get the Claimh Solais so it's useless.
