Small tip for people using stamina potions to reach the island: make potions that give you extra stamina instead of regular stamina potions, they refil the whole gauge + the extra, its much better than a lot of regular potions
Thank you! I agree but for whatever reason most people refuse to cooking recipes and elixirs in this game and just eat raw ingredients and die constantly because they just play the game without thinking or planning!!!!!!!!!!
Great to use against it though. Freeze it and knock it back into the death wire. Follow wherever it moves and you'll be able to Freeze it before it re-equips. Fun fact that he didn't mention. You can get Zonaite weapons and Ancient Daggers from two constructs that show up after the boss is dead.
@@cxvlestial5447exactly. I have an auto build of a frost head and the homing cart and every time I use it I put on my upgraded snowquil set. That unfreezeable perk is so good when ice is being shot all around the battlefield and being able to just run through the ice blasts is wayyy better than trying to avoid being frozen by your own creation.
I stumbled upon this sage while chasing shrines on my pad alert. I floated into the thunderstorm and next thing i knew im opening a door with hearts. I had 2 sages.
@@kelticsage if you got mineru as the first sage, spoiler alert : did she appear in the first cutscene against the 5 phantom ganons where the champions help you? and what about the dialogue you get the about purah and the champions discussing the 5th sage? just a lil curious
Canonically Mineru is found during a Main Quest after saving Gerudo Town, Zora's Domain, Goron City and Rito Village. However, I found her first BEFORE saving any of the other regions.
There's sky rubble near the Dodongo farm in Faron that if you use recall on, will fly up and take you straight to the temple. A lot faster and uses little to no stamina.
@mustlovebooknerd Same, I stumbled onto it early game after doing the wind temple, I think I was trying to get to that plateau in Faron that had all the hearty durian in botw (go there for a cool surprise 😄), and decided to do it since I was too lazy to teleport back. I will say tho, the boss fight is gonna be brutal if you didn't upgrade your energy cells at all, and for some reason I think that temple in particular is worth a lot of points in the sliding scale difficulty algorithm the game has? Because after I finished it I was seeing silver enemies, and I only had like 8 hearts. Just a heads up, I guess.
I got her right after the rito village quest because a rock fell from the sky right above the cloud and I used recall on it to see if it'd get me anywhere, found the door and what I thought was a side quest to get some zonai equipment turned into me at 4 am wondering how I hadn't noticed it'd been so long (but now I have a mech!!)
I had something similar. I was trying to float to get one of the wondering/stable musicians and on the way was the thunderstorm. I was going in from the north end. got onto the bottom of one of the islands, it was very foggy. night time as well as i was making the approach, so it was very atmospheric. I got to the top of the island, nearly not making it because i was already low on stamina from the hang glide, and it was slippery on the sides of the walls on the side of the island. After wondering a bit, I found the lightning strikes revealing more islands not too far off. So I jumped and went for them. After a bit I tried to make it to the heart/head of the storm and somehow I ran low on stamina and started falling. I made the decision to just go after the musicians. However upon the fall I saw that the island below had a large temple, so I went there. I had the sensor + upgrade so I heard some beeps and went to look for the shrine. After going through the shrine I cut the plants, opened up the door, and found the mask. From just looking at the mask initially I thought I was going to get an armour piece. Little did I know that it was going to send me on a large quests at 1am.. going onto 3am.. But what a nice surprise. I had only 3 sages, and there was no mention of a 5th ( though I had a suspicion since hes got the sages on his fingers. ). And the way the quest built up was really nice because it built up from nothing. baby steps, getting gradually bigger and bigger as it opened up. And from my point of view, because the game didnt lead me to it through any quest, even more so because it was a complete surprise. The way this quest revealed itself to me was similar to how some people described their experience with exploring elden ring. They would be exploring and out of the blue they would get to a large hidden section, which would then lead down a few quests of even larger areas. all because they decided to go off the beaten path. In zeldas future I hope they add hidden gems like this. But large quests that are not tied in any way to the main quest, and can only be accessed by exploring.
that is some dumb luck if i ever heard of it lol, i accidentally found it while looking for the bargaining statues in the depths, so had to google the factory to figure out what it was (thought mineru was a boss mob i was supposed to fight but it wouldint respond to me running towards it or anything).
I bet the bokoblins hear the guardian theme playing once I raid their camp with Mineru. It is quite fun to fight a flux construct with mineru, just upgrade her with sage orbs if you want to fight a flux construct III.
@@ninjasrule there are some parts you may need to do without mineru. Such as the construct's flying phase. If the core of the construct is near it's head you may need to shoot it down or ultrahand it. For the cube you just need to punch when the core is visible.
Quick tip if you don’t have enough height you can stop on the islands to it’s right and use a wing with fans to get to the bottom revers pillar thing and use ascend to get up
You do not need stamina and you do not need ten hearts. Just ascend up from below the pedestal with a balloon dirigible at lat and long 1363, -3259. You skip all story part, fog, and you skip the big door that requires ten hearts
Fire emitter works pretty good on the boss for initial stun. Then any blunt force object will work. Does not necessarily need to be spike ball. I used a spring, because I was hoping it would knock back harder...didn't work that way, was no different than using a spike ball.
Fantastic video guide! I just got 10 hearts and found this, so good timing. Monster parts and grasshoppers for stamina elixirs already on me from going to the castle for gear. Just got to ground and hit the root for light. I just want to say for upcoming guides that “depot” is pronounced *Dee-poh* for future reference. This guide is extremely helpful and a fun follow to get this relatively early in the game!
In addition to the 10 hearts, you have to have started the "Regional Phenomena" quest or you can't take the mask. That just requires you to unlock the Lookout Landing tower and report back to Purah.
Didn't know the game stopped you normally from getting this one. I had this sage done second because I was doing more sky exploring with the help from the wind sage. I noticed the temple and dropped right next to it. I haven't explored the rest of that area though even yet.
Well, least I am nit the only one lol. I didn't know I wasn't supposed to be able to get there either, yet made it there pretty early in the game. Granted I haven't opened the door yet ( lack of hearts, then just outright forgot about it.)
@@messiert1987 I was lucky I had just enough hearts to do so. I didn't know at the time it was going to be a sage thing though... and still didn't feel like it. I miss the old Zelda structure honestly, I know everyone loves open world games, but I'm not sure it was the right path for Zelda because you have to take out so much just to be able to wander around aimlessly for hours. I'm also jaded some, BotW and TotK just don't impress me at all, the mechanics were mostly done a decade earlier, and the graphics feel washed out even compared to Twilight Princess, let alone something like Witcher 3, I have never liked "cell shading" all that well though compared to more detailed techniques. Me in the 90s playing OoT on the N64 would be amazed, me now not so much.
@John A. I enjoy the game for what it is, and would love to see more of it. That said, I would also love to see more of the traditional zelda. Granted my favorite zelda was link to the past which I tend to randmize every few months. I do understand where you are coming from however, they are very different experiences and botw tends to be to massive for short burst plays.
It doesn't. It actually directs you to do so. Once you've completed the regional phenomenon quest by knocking out the other 4 sages' quests and followed Zelda to the castle, Purah will set you on the path and give you a quest to seek out Mineru. If you're an old-school RPG player, just following the old habits of talking to everyone as you progress through the story will take you beat-by-beat from game's start right through the final boss in a nice clean line. You just have the option to sequence break without any notable consequences.
@@KelbPanthera I actually did the rest of it yesterday to check off the boxes there. I will say that I'm a little impressed they bothered to add in the lines that the main quests notice if you've completed other things before hand, most games don't bother with that. They knew I had the sword AND did the 5th sage quests... though they still don't know that I know about Zelda. And oddly enough they don't ask to talk to the ancient Sage they seem to know about all the sudden who could give them all the information they want.
If you complete the regional phenomena and clear the Kakariko main quest followed by the quest at Dracozu lake It'll clear the Thunder head isles & Dragon head island from the storm. (You can also get the Charged armor set from this quest)
Found this by total accident while exploring the thunderhead isles. I figures this was where we get the master sword, i grinded so hard but i found out it was the sage. Thought this was way cooler
I went to fight him on accident while I only had 2 of them down - big mistake (you apparently have to fight the bosses you haven't yet and it was both of them right after another...such a pain).
@@adriancarrillo2026 I explored the depths under Hyrule Castle. I went deeper and deeper until I stumbled to the place where you were together with Zelda at the beginning of the game and there was Ganondorf and his waves of enemies lmao
I'm glad you showed exactly how to get to the particular sky island you need to get to, to get here. Other videos just say go into the storm. That's doesn't help much. This did help a lot!
At the beginning of my gameplay, I came across this island completely lost now that I'm back with all the sages. I'm glad I did it the way the story intended
I got the 4 normal sages and went to fight Ganondorf and when the seized construct appeared as a boss I was like "wtf why does it have so much health" this was actually a better bossfight than Ganondorf if you dont have a mech
I actually found this sage before I did any of the other sages. I then did the great plateau eyeball thing nearby and then went on to do Tulin, Sidon, and I'm currently doing Yunobo
I have the 5th sage already I even beat the game. I do have to say the 5th sage is very op but with some of these crazy builds ppl are doing I don't think the sage can compete. But it's still op slow but op.
Got there because a piece from the sky ruins fell down close to it and reversed it to be able to get to it. Also Riiju makes seeing much easier for the area.
I recommend fully upgrading the soldier armor because you can get it early game and the full set makes your defense 84 so it will help you a lot with bosses. Btw for an example for how strong it is every silver enemy and phantom ganon does only 1/4 of a heart
Same as the fully upgraded zonai armor. I upgraded the zonai armor because the resources weren't that hard to find and it has the added benefit of improving battery use
no you can get to it any time you want you just need several large zonai charges and 10 hearts then use the cool hoverbike to nyoom your way upward and you can start it at anytime theres nothing saying no you cant go there barring some way to get up there and 10 hearts but you do gotta go to the sky island first to activate the rest of the quest
I had to share this because I found out about it today. All of the light roots are directly connected to the shrines on the surface. Also, the names of all of them are just spelled backwards from each other. So, if you find a light root, you found a shrine upstairs.
i ran through the entirety of faron sky from start to end in POURING RAIN. i had no idea you could get rid of it, so I was inches away from the screen trackingever ledge, platform, and island I could see. I MADE IT. DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH HEARTS. cut like 1 regional phenomena later i come back with enough hearts and find this strange head thing. I follow where it wants me to go and find the construct factory. . the same one i found EARLIER. THE SAME ONE THAT I WENT TO EVER SINGLE DEPOT RUNNING AROUND FOR HOURS NOT KNOWING WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO And i come here to realise that you had to get the head first so you could unlock all the body parts in the depots. I love you
btw if your smart enough to hang around the middle factory and look thru the whole middle section like a good explorer a fren construct at the top middle ( you need to climb the building will mention to turn on the place you need to head to the island
holy ffffffffff. I have not finnished any of the temples, I have no spirit guides. I do have 14hearts and 2plus stamina wheels. But I do not believe I can beat the Robot boss... so I am leaving her in the depths until I feel I am worthy... THANK YOU for this and all your videos they have really helped
Honestly, I got to this part and started at the right leg but didn’t activate the thing with my hand and I was so confused. Now that I know what to do, I wanna try this by myself. Edit: just responded to a negative comment. But plz if u don’t have a positive comment, a question, or info then just keep it to yourself and don’t comment it cause we don’t even know how much time Philly or anyone in general spends on making the vid and editing.
There is a new far easier dupe glitch for items. You simply press y and b at the same time while paragliding in the inventory, simply hold the item you desire to dupe (sadly not weapons) And then press y and b at the same time Note you must be paraglidng when you open the inventory to preform this. Im suprised you can even hold items while paragliding
Sooo I completely missed that door was actually a DOOR the first time I came here after completing the shrine 😅But! I figured something must be in that area on the other side. Using a wing I found on the other side, I glided underneath and ascended up into it. No heart container check needed!
I have placed both my travel medalions, one at the refinery the other the way out, if I run out of arrows, I got stuck down there, ill prepared at the start. I now have 8 hearts &:2 & a half stamina wheels.
Good news you don’t need to get all the boss fights done to do this I only did Zora’s domain and if you get the Thunder helm you can get past the storm and make it to the island.
The Boss here really reminds me of the Ancient Cistern (LoZ : Skyward Sword) boss..... I wonder if there's any connection that the devs may have drawn inspiration from?
Funny story, I found mineru on accident, I simply went to dragon head isle because I wanted to see if there were any shrine or cool items, there was…her. I didn’t even find the dragon tears yet. Best mistake ever 😅
I just used the blue light that appears everywhere when using the fuse ability as a makeshift lantern. It also shows where the ground disappears so I never fell off
ran into her by accident while exploring the depths for the bargaining statues for the full depths set lol, was missing the geruda sage still so had to use a guide to get through the clouds lol.
THIS QUEST FELT LIKE A DARK SOULS GAME!!! Think Nintendo is going the wrong direction with Zelda. I felt like I was playing Elden Ring doing this quest! Over 5hrs, tons of glitch tricks to keep bows and bombs stocked etc. WOW...too damn hard!!! And I just made it to the boss fight, but have not fought him yet. Took all night long just getting there, so I'm going to bed now. This is ridiculous!
el robot golem es bueno lastima que no puede agarrar armas fusionadas seria lo mejor. se le pueden poner armas en las manos como objetos zonnan pero siempre cuando no sean fusiones si se pudiera mejorar seria un buen robot.
Mineru is probably the best sage because it doesnt take fall dmg it can block around 4-5 attack maybe more you can attach any UNFUSED weapons to her arms and you can fuse horns to her arms aswell as being able to be upgraded to do way more dmg and a cool green teal glow and yes all sages can be upgrades but still mineru has to be the most op plus you csn attach stuff to he back and you can make some cool combos such as electric and ice gleeok horns zonai devices AND THE BEST FEATURE ABOUT IT HAS TO BE that the furry that controls the mechs spirit is not cringe
I just did Mineru’s dungeon without even knowing it was a dungeon after I did two already instead of doing it after all of them, so technically I did them in the wrong order 😅
I really wanted to do this in my almost thought I never gonna do this because bury any videos helping me out you saved a day thank you. Maybe you do other videos how to get other stuff maybe one day you save the day for wheel
I cant activate the mask, it states "that it feels like the time isnt right to be here" or something like that. I have two sages, and 10 hearts. Any idea why it wont activate? Thanks!
@Geovanny Matta did you go get the camera upgrade that you should get initially in the game? I missed that to go exploring and I just got it. After that it worked.
I feel like an idiot now. The solution for the Right Leg Depot was so simple that I missed it and just Ultra-Handed the leg to the leg and then used the reverse time ability to bring it up to the platform (bypassing the whole rail thing altogether).
I beat thé final boss with no dungeons done yet for the ultimate challenge, and then saw the construct factory, and it looked like the boss I fought at the boss rush, so I knew I was building something similar. Ngl, I frickin looked up the location of the mask to begin the quest to build mineru’s body and that’s how I got her as the first sage
Just completed the Mineru main quest. I went to dragon head island earlier, got the shrine and left, figuring this was a find the shrine in the fog side quest. Didn’t even see the big ass door in the fog 😂
Wait what do you mean its required to do the 4 sages? I just wandered in there through the end of the swirl with a wing and blindly pressed forward untill the end. All i had at the time was Tulin
Did anyone see when the sized robot got destroyed, instead of gloom and looked like malice. And the difference between malice and gloom is color and effects, which makes it separate right. Though I couldn't wrong. Could anyone explain the differences or similarities to me?
I'm guessing that no one has yet exploited that giant electrified pillar in the right arm depot? Man, that would be something to have for electrical builds (wonder why it's electrified - is there a different solution that required it)?
