Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience on this subject. Thank you for donating your time to post it. I am late 40's and heavier than i have ever been. What you have shared here offers a different perspective which I am going to explore. In my case the weight goes on when i feel stress. Thinking about it now though, being over weight in my family is like a membership attribute to belong. We used to be taught as children you must eat everything on your plate else you can't leave the table. Being taught ideas that food must never be wasted so you end up eating it rather than throwing it out. Interesting. Anyway, thanks!

Although, for example, due to my previous military experience, I have a high level of awareness, I do not claim that the surroundings or others do not affect me negatively or positively. The problem, as Voltaire says, is our position on those events. But it certainly leaves something inside us or sort of impact that leaves a certain impression or experience. What is the way to protect against the succession of these influences, especially in today’s world in which we feel that we are prisoners of everything around us?
