the reaches trying to piece together clues for a third album are hilarious, just shows how easy it is to create theories and find "proof" on random things

I would’ve just assumed that woodvale was gonna be the name for evermore but she changed it to make Evermore a title track and rhyme with folklore

as a swiftie, i take comfort in knowing that i will never be delusional over a boy the way i am delusional for taylor swift theories

i think it was just to test out spacing (woodvale and folklore have the same number of letters) without leaking the album name if the pics got out. def weird it was on official merch tho

i always knew the swifties are often wild in their theories and are often clowns, but the majority of the theories are literally borderline delusions😭

the anthology is definitely woodvale in the sense that its the 3rd installment of the folklore triology. she never called it woodvale though lol

Honestly its Taylor's fault swifties are this delusional. I mean she literally put clues and riddles everywherdle. Even as a non swiftie "Woodvale" is pretty believable ngl

I firmly believe Woodvale was just a mistake as she said. The similarities between the anthology tracks and Folklore/Evermore are mainly just due to Aaron Dessner's influence since he contributed much more to the anthology tracks than to the standard edition tracks.

I think these theories are fun up to the point where they start having real-world consequences. The Woodvale theory seems mostly harmless, I think. Can't say the same for some of the others (*cough* the Gay Taylor theory *cough*).

i think there was a 3rd album for the folklore trilogy but things turned rocky w joe and so we got midnights instead which is a one foot out the door album and ttpd is a moving on and rebound then new love with trav album

21:38 to add to this theory that the surprise songs are bsides from evermore/folklore a lost sister or the “woodvale”, she uploaded a video of her kitten Benji say he has two sisters, and this was during the clowning scene of the whole 2 thing. I think it’s not woodvale but it is also a sister to them

I always thought woodvale was just a placeholder for folklore. It's similar to the Karma theories, it was probably repurposed into Reputation. But, TTPD anthology feels like the 3rd folklore-evermore album.

The editing on this video was really well done. I can tell you put A LOT of extra effort into it that wasn’t necessary but most definitely increased the quality and wachability.

everything being an easter egg sounds exhausting to me honestly, i don’t know how people dedicate entire accounts to it. your videos are like going into another world and it’s the only way i can navigate them lol

i think you should have talked about how cardigan MV ended with a melody that was then the start to willow MV, which ended with another melody that could have been the start to a woodvale MV. you can’t blame us, the woodvale clowning just made sense at the time.

Folklore is my fav album. The anthology half is SOOOO folklore. The prophecy so folklore. Cassandra, is legit mad woman 2. I could see it honestly.

I am a Swiftie and what always makes me crack up is that Taylor has not once… Not ever… done a super intricate, complicated, set of clues or hints. Literally, every single one of them has been like… when she released the song me! She hadn’t yet said what her album was going to be called and in one scene there’s a big billboard in the background that says lover (the name of the album). Or it’ll be an Easter egg like…. “Oh my God look there’s a song on her album called “sparkly rose dress”, and look, here’s a picture of her from three weeks before the album came out, where she’s wearing a dress with sparkly roses on it!” Or like when her new album (new att) had a song called Snow on the beach… she had posted a photo of herself on a snowy beach a few weeks before. My point is, they’re not typically clues. They’re more like Easter eggs and fun little things to notice after the fact. The most complex ones will literally be like… Say she’s releasing a surprise music video and not telling the fans … We realize *after the fact* that she posted every day for 5 days before with star emojis mixed within the caption… and each day she put one less emoji… And it was a countdown… As far as things you could possibly pick up on AHEAD of time, it would be something no more complex than that (emoji countdown lol). For the most part, they’re always things that you could not possibly figure out until after the fact. Easter eggs, not a riddle to be solved. The other kind of clue she does for the fans is where she’ll put hints within lyrics like, say there’s an older song that it’s really clear who it’s about (like “style” or “dear John” hahaha)… Then she writes another song that’s a lot more private like say it talks about the person’s addiction problems or that she was seeing them while they had a girlfriend… Or something more private like that that she wouldn’t want to put them on blast with publicly… with something like that, she’ll throw in a lyric or something from that other obviously-about-him song, so that we- the fans- all know, for sure, that the more private personal song is about that same person… As like a wink to the fans to let just us know. But it won’t be obvious enough that news can report on it… so it’s just for the fans (and again, after the fact). She has never once ever done a super complex clue like “ Oh, there was a sparrow in the background of the music video, and the sparrow is the state bird of (this isn’t true lol) Washington and as we all know her music producer from her second album lives in Washington, and his last name is “Pinkerton”, as we can see, she’s wearing pink lipstick in the scene with the sparrow… so she’s trying to tell us that she’s working with him. It’s never ONCE been something complex like that. It’s always something like the things I said, that would seem normal in the present, but then, with hindsight makes you go “oh, that’s clever!” or like I said, it’ll be like a little wink to the fans that only the fans will pick up on… But it’s never like an elaborate riddle with an escape room style set of clues lol. Like, even if you go back to the very first time she did this, on her very first albums where she gave up little clues about who the songs were about… when she was a teenager… All she did was in the Lyric book, put certain letters in bold, and then, if you wrote down all the bold letters, it would spell out a sentence like (whatever, I’m making this up>) “dancing at the Grammys” and let’s say she had been seen dancing at the Grammy’s to some musician that she had been rumored to be dating… So , that would make the fans go “Oh shit, this is definitely about him!” But the average person wouldn’t pick up on it and the news wouldn’t consider it like concrete enough to report on… It’s not meant to be like a crazed riddle lol it’s just supposed to be like fun little extra info for ppl who are big enough fans to care to figure it out. Just a fan thing with the fans. I don’t understand how they started thinking it was these elaborate things like this. It never has been. Not ever. Not even once lol.

When you mentioned TTPD I thought you were going to talk about the line “I keep these longings locked in lowercase inside a vault” from Guilty as Sin? as that single phrase feels like fuel to the whole theory that a 3rd album may really exist, since all the names are lowercased and it might still be in the vault as other songs of hers.

I literally knew straight away from listening to TTPD Anthology that it sounded like folklore/evermore. I definitely do believe that The Anthology is a re-packaged version of "woodvale" and the reason why she probably released it under "The Anthology" was most likely because she didn't want to post 2 new albums at once.

I just love how I am slowly becoming a swiftie in the year of 2024 where TTPD is released, 15 extra songs of the anthology which is my age this year, and 31 songs in total which is the day I was born, when its swapped around its 13, and the fact i was born in the month where taylor fell in love with travis and the month Im born in the month harry otter was born in (another fandom, sorry) and the fact im still clowning over ttpd and rep tv😍 Anyways jokes aside I NOTICED SOMETHING FROM THE WILLOW WHERE TAYLOR WAS WEARING THE BLUE DRESS RIGHT? EVEN THO ITS NOT THAT RELEVANT BUT IN THE FORTNIGHT MV TAYLOR WAS WEARING A SIMILAR BLACK VERSION OF THE DRESS. Guys Taylor confirmed Woodvale was a code name for folklore that she told her team as she didn’t want to reveal the actual name of the album until it was released. She left it on the album cover as an accident and removed it from all the other variants but forgot to remove it from the hide and seek variant
