I believe i can do more than what im going after atm, which is why ive already set long term goals for myself even after i have entered the Tech field. The mind will manifest what you believe, and it's been challenging but i am excited to learn and continue to grow regardless of the hardship. Implementation (doing the thing physically) and communicating how to do it and why you need to do it and when you should do it (communication) Key 🔑 that’s why I’m head on heading up this realm of Risk Management. Governance Risk and Compliance isn’t sexy to everyone but I love it and it can pay.

I am working on this path. Last year I hit 6 figures working in IT. The pay is ok but the work is monotonous and doesn't use my skills. I'm upgrading my skills but my current employer has no interest in the IT department's career.

@10:00 😂😂 - this is very relevant to something Ive been understanding more of lately - SOFT SKILLS. So overlooked and borderline criminal how much of the entire labor force ignores this area and gets too caught up in technical skills and getting certs/degrees.

Okay, have done alot of things and good at most but not good at talking to large groups, am a veteran, am disabled,and have social anxiety, i have worked on both ends of the computer and in physical security, would love to be able to get out of the van or the backroom, looking to make enough to set my family up, just dont want to slide further down the hill.

I want to tell you when to get the red team guys in and when they do get in I wanna be able to tell the blue team guys that hey this control needs to be this way because xyz that’s why the system is vulnerable. But this takes everyone to do it. It’s still a team work
