Keep in mind that if you focus everything in one chunk, you're gonna get fps problems... My experience: Make portals for a farm and a portal hub. So you're spreading all your built instances over the map. You can built more and have also more fps. Keep it up. :)
awesome advice. If you build a small village with a boar farm it's gg for your fps. I make my basic stuff in the meadows, I make 2 farms, 1 in plains and 1 in mistlands.
Found a great spot on my server. Sandwiched betweed meadow, next to the cosmetic trader, swamp, black forest and plains. Everything is constantly fighting eachother and there's always free loot to grab.
this is shaping up to be a great series! three short episodes in and you're already further into the game content than I ever did. I couldn't psyche myself up to a hard AF bonemass fight....so was stuck with iron gear...bleh. I'd love longer videos, if you can, but it's good content.
Bonemass is super easy if you use poison protection meads and get really close to bonemass block their attack then hit 2 times with a mace or sword and block with your shield. It's one of the EASIEST bosses, actually the only boss that is super hard is yugluth and I just recommend cheating against it lmfao.
You can get chicken eggs before defeating yagluth. Hildir's request quest chain - the tower. 2 eggs are in a chest. Can be done at any point you can survive in Plains but before being ready for the boss.
@@Unfiltered_Raven i would totally watch it, but in my experience tutorial/howto kinda videos tend to do better for the algorithm like this one... but what makes you happy is most important! if you wanna run some valheim sometime im getting into making videos on it too!
Just a suggestion that's sort of a pet peeve of mine.. try to proofread the text you put into your videos before uploading them, helps to convey a sense of professionalism/attention to detail 😉
befor mistlands i find perfect place where 4 bioms meet :D its nice to watch from your castle where draugs fight with goblins wraithswith deathsquitos etc :D also some dakes and wolf invide my base and fight other moobs to :D
Subscribed; this is a cool series! Are you going to do more Valheim content other than this or do you just drop into a game for a while and move on? Hope you continue, I like your style.
I want todo this world for a minimum of 1 year where I have a few things planned. but I might do a challenge from time to time i just do it as I get the ideas next time will probably be a building episode. nothing is planned but I have an overarching idea of events. I am starting the city build so look for that.
I just watched your first 3 videos. Hoping as you do this city we get to watch you planning and building; get an idea of your process and thoughts. The first 3 videos did pretty big time jumps in a very short time.
i do update to each build when their done. i did the neighborhood recently ill have out the docs and some park areas next but probably next week.

I am using Frostener from silver even in Mistlands, so I would not skip Mountains. Alse the decorative items from Mountain's dungeons look really nice.
plains is not one of the two biomes that can crow specific crops, u get mushroom caps from mistlands - specific, barley/flax from plains and from starting biome you get rest of the crops. on a side note I love the fact that everything is made in survival mode. congrats and keep up the good work.

@@Unfiltered_Raven The title is okay, it’s more in the video. I actually just mentioned this to my wife who is also dyslexic. She said to just read your stuff 3-4 times before you are done! Then ask someone you know to read/watch your video. Honestly dude, it’s just more appealing to the eye. You did make a few solid videos though, keep it up man!
Im still learning valheim and such, dipping my feet in mods. Is the city you're building going to have population? U mentioned living and breathing city so i wasnt sure if you were using a mod for npc characters to be in the city besides just 1 character (you).
there are no NPC's in the game that do things beyond trade. its more me just making it sound more impressive than it actually is. I want to more make an illusion of many people living in one location. I also have 2 other people who play it with me so they will probably get their own house in the city as well.
@@Unfiltered_Raven I suppose a scattered bunch of equipped armour stands could make it look 'busy' for a flyby or two. (And be a great way to use up some of the leather you can end up with as you start pulling down Fulling settlements)
I'm currently working the Mountains for the Silver. I didn't think of the Lox cape being easier... While Wolves are much easier to take out than a Lox... Silver is a pain to find.
I'm confused.. There were no secrets in this video, and where you could have given secrets you didn't. And this is def NOT the perfect base location.... Did you maybe upload the wrong video?
the joke is there is no perfect base location and its all subjective. its more i loved the idea of an island base since making spawns not happen would be easy. the "secret" is find a place you like and just build it.
The first large base must be where the boss trophies are located. Second should be elder alter as that square becomes the chicken farm with the eternal flame. The third should be close to bonemass and moder. The rest is up to you. if you do not have a fire or heat source in the bases you use as a portal base you will not be invaded. Just don't build fires or have a bed in those. Also use hoe to built a base on top of raised ground. It cannot be destroyed. You'll have to fight bats and dragons though. So make sure you have no entry points for bats and dragons. Also I like to use another avatar already levelled up to transfer metal and things that cannot be taken through a portal. I still have to take a ship to other land masses but I really don't bother with wasting time on transporting metal back the hard way.
if all else fails just use the spawn meadows it may not be the best, but portals make quick work of any distance. also items like ore can now be teleported if you do some world modifiers.
