I am a stylist of 22 years of experience in Virginia. I love your videos. I was wondering if you would please be willing to share the amount of time and product this took you, and also how much you charged for this. I only ask because it helps stylist have a better idea of what we're getting into when we take on these projects. It's also important for anyone seeking a service of this nature to understand the time and expense involved in such an intricate process. I totally get this is where consultation comes in. However, in all my years of this profession we still come across the individuals who don't seem to understand why you can't' typically just walk into a salon for something like this and just be in and out. I've even in the past have heard the remark, " I don't understand why so much time and money." " IT'S JUST COLOR!"😆🤣🤣🤣 Thank you so much for all the education and techniques that you share. Hi Ashley! Thank you for watching and for being an awesome subscriber ❤️. This entire process took 5 hours in total with 5 to 6 bowls of lightener, two different toner formulas and treatments between. I would guess that my product cost for this was around $75 (disclaimer: this is what my salon charges)👇🏽 Platinum Card Babylight, toner and cut $575 She also purchased take home product of $100 to start She tipped $130 (this is always optional)

That was about $100+ per hr! I usually charge $75 per hair cut. So when I do this kind of work I make sure I set aside 4-5 hrs and about $400 included product cost. Also depending on your demographic area UR located /experience /demand is that you decide what to charge. That’s why pretty much every salon has different prices. 😢

You are a GOD of stylists! I am SO so very impressed on how knowledgeable and educated you are when it comes to blonde hair! I just went to this new stylist and I showed her pictures of platinum highlights and I am not kidding you, my hair actually came out darker than when I went in an it's an ugly dark mixed with yellow and for the first time ever, brassy/orange highlights!!! Now I am on a LOT of meds & entering menopause, but I know it's not me because my MOM, who is NOT a stylist was able to lift me before to a level 10, platinum white with #Schwarzkopf BLONDME Premium Lightener 9+ & Developer!! That is valuable info about the hard water buildup. I grew up on soft water and now life in a hard water area so I hadn't thought of that. That could account for some of the yellow I have. Yup, definitely want to address that! Thanks!

Hello,i would like to try the 10 min permanent color for breaking the base on highlights. You said it does not give a warm tone in the A series..while i apply the toner to the lenght of the long hair,what will happen to the base at the roots after 10 min? does it stops after 10 min or it gets darker? I would stop using them and find the right ones that work best for your hair. Not all purple shampoos are created equal. Try ones that have a sheer tone or ask a hairstylist in person to find the right one for you.

Bc purple or blue shampoos arent toners just to keep blonde more consistent and actual toners leave on too long can turn hair purple same as the shampoos also bc the color pigments in there the more darker purple the shampoo is the more stronger it is ive noticed some are light in color n some arent❤

Was wondering if it’s possible to get white results after lifting brown colored hair in 2 sessions. My stylist got my brown ends to lift 3-4 levels and am left with a pale blonde result which I hate. I’ve never been blonde so I’m not digging it. She says she can lift it all the way to reach my white/gray underneath. I’m having panic attacks over how my hair looks.

yes it’s possible but everything is a process and transition. And sometimes we go through a transition that we’re not loving in order to get to that final result

This sounds like the lift was either brighter at the top than the bottom and you needed a pretone. And/Or, you are dealing with porosity issues. both can be corrected before the final tone.

Wide foils ruin the whole routine! Gets messy and slips waay to much. I was never a good foiler and it stressed me out. After watching lots of videos i think smaller and clean is the ticket!

This looks to me like she has used a metallic dye. If a person has had a metallic dye used it will mot bleach up.

I have been a hair stylist a long time I got out of school in 1968 and have been in business for a long time Why did not you use 30vol lighter on her hair I use it and add heat and it wll get to the lightest gray you would ever want .and after the color use condition I was just wondering love the video.

I always apply malibu c de-ox it's in the yellow package it stops the lightener or any kind of chemicals from continue to work I just stops it in its tracks
