Fixing wavy body panels can be hard. I'll try to make it easier with a special tool and an old drywall trick! Body filler helps as always. A rusty hole shows up to visit. Using a Viking air file we finisher it off. On the way to being a nice restored fender on our MGA!

I was told to apply bondo over clean metal , as u have done. Some utube presenters say that after a few years the base metal can rust under the bondo and get lifting. They recommend some kind of primer before the bondo. What's your advice? Thanks

Thanks for watching Hazzy. I would rather have bondo on metal... Has to be roughed up real good with at least 40gt! If you have primer, like some of the spots I have, so long as the metal and primer are roughed up, bondo on top is ok. My caddy has bondo on bare metal and it's been fine for 7 years!
