We don’t need to resist the natural. Learning is about understanding and so is spirituality. Yes it is important to focus to improve certain areas but don’t confuse that for resistance. This video doesn’t explain the process and mechanisms of improving all it does is state an unsupported statement with comparisons, but just because something is similar doesn’t mean that they work the same way.
Adhyatma (spirituality) was never about gaining any power. A spiritual aspirant always works like a trustee for welfare of entire mankind all the time. Spiritual power of any kind when achieved could never be used for individual self, so was ordained by God. For a seeker on spiritual journey reaching God was the only goal of life. To reach higher states of consciousness we have to kill our ego in totality. Ones whose ego diminishes day by day, how can one be expected to exercise any power? All man gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha even Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharshi Ramana, even though they possessed massive supernatural powers worked for welfare of mankind all the time.
