The nail industry there is always something neat to learn the learning aspect never gets doll bc new things always come out and something you haven't heard of yet that's why I love it I get bored fast lol 😊
@Messy Jessie its not silly. She felt seen and thats always something to be happy about. Is it important to the video no but it clearly was touching for them and its allowed to be.
@Messy Jessie and that affects you how? We all want to see ourselves reflected in the places that we love, take a break and touch some grass so you realize that you being so irked by the op’s comment is a very bad look for you. Only a certain type of person is bothered by another person being happy they see someone that looks like them represented in media.
I remember when polygels were becoming so common and you tried them a little but you were an old school acrylic tech to the core, while so many other creators fled to poly and never looked back. However, none of them, as much as I love so many others as well, but not a single one of them have the industry knowledge that you do. And that’s why, even your poly tutorials are super on point! I’ve learned so much from your channel, even though I only do my nails occasionally they still come out so good because of you. (People never believe that I did them because I don’t keep a regular set on, I do them every few months and keep them for a week or two before I get tired of longer nails. 😂) You’re expertise is not just due to probably being the Internet’s fine bottle of wine (gracefully maturing in the industry), but no doubt obviously the product of a constant thirst for education and knowledge in your craft. (I love when you get to collab with someone that teaches you something knew too.) It’s so important a thing for everyone to know that however much of an expert one is in a field, there’s always going to be something new to learn, something exciting to try, and something more to add to become an expert in. (P.S. Cameraman ain’t too shabby at his expertise either! 😂)
my mother literally made me do this and I haven't done anything nail-related my whole entire life. Her reasoning was because "im an artist so i must have good and steady hands" and then i replied that i haven't touched nail polish once nor applied someone else's, then she replied "i could just pick it up with just watching a youtube video" because that's what usually happens. All in all, she was proven right again since i was able to do it flawlessly although im kinda pissed because i know im going to be asked to do this again, so im gonna ask for "payment" next time 🤡🤡🤡🤑🤑
update: She made me do her acrylics in her despedida buenvenida party and it well, turned out actually kind of good? but it was a month ago and her nail kinda got uh, smacked with something hard so her nail kinda disfigured and she had to get the acrylics removed 😶
I want to thank you for taking out the time of your life and sharing what you know about nails being being beautiful. I've never been to a nail salon to get my nails done. I couldn't see myself paying 50.00 to 100.00 for that. I'm 63, had lovely looking hands until after 40. Now thanks to you, my hands will be a conversation piece!😃 I will store your video in my phone under my own name! Thank you so much for lovely hands again!...And TEMU!!!
I love how Suzie explains working with hybrid gel, it's so easy for me to understand. I was taught to hold the brush at 45 degrees to the product and I find that hard to visualise. But a knife angle or a barrier is something I see easily.
@@lavone5541 yes i searched it up on yt later and found out they did 😂 i didn't know this was Suzie herself. i remember seeing the chat on simply's stream talk about someone named Suzie and i was like "who is that" so i was thoroughly surprised when i found out this was Suzie 😂😂
Wow! I love watching you do this. I was a cosmetologist for almost 40 years. I did everything. I was a nail tech for a couple years of that time. It might sound weird but I love the smell of a busy salon. The color, the perms, the nails, all together smells like money to me. Lol Saturday was the busiest n best day of work. You do a magnificent job on the nails! Kudos! 💝💯👍🏽🌻
Ok so I don’t do nails but seeing this is like “ok THIS is why great nail techs can charge whatever they want.” This level of care and technique is just amazing.
Interesting! I didn't know you should use only 70% alcohol for forming the product. I always just used my 90% since that's what I had because that's what cleans the sticky layer off of gel the best.
Hello. Can I ask you how long needs to get dry any jel on your nail? I mean how much time you have to work on it? I hope I get an answer from anyone who knows. Thank you. ❤
@@paullalau4286 Gel polish does not dry. It will only harden when put under a UV/LED lamp, so technically you can work on it forever before you decide that you want to cure it in the lamp.
This was like watching and listening to the masterPainter Bob Ross painting- Except She’s a Master Nail painting Boss..❤Amazing teaching- Peaceful Vibes
I love watching her videos because her voice is relaxing . Not in an ASMR way, but like, the teacher at school that had patience with you and made you feel safe lol.
Hi guys! Just wanted to remind u to inspect your bare nails often. A brown, purple or black line on your nail could be melanoma. It's one of the easiest cancers to heal when it's caught in time. So if you see a weird line across your nail, get it checked by a doctor. Stay safe❤ (saying this on a nail art channel just because the subject is already on the table. I've got a weird line rn... getting it checked out soon. After all, that's what BobMarley died from. He was only 38.)
Im dyslexic. Very dyslexic! I cried so much in school I had dark circles under my eyes. I felt worthless! Watching your videos have helped me so much! Your voice and detailed information helps so much.
Awww sweetie I don’t know if it helps but I think I am dyslexic as well. Over the years I’ve noticed I have a lot of symptoms. Ive not been medically diagnosed. But I strongly suspect I am. So it’s ok we are all unique 🧡
I will never again have these nails because the maintenance is such a pain. But I love to see a skilled manicurist who takes pride in high quality work. Excellent stuff!
This lady did teach me to do nails. But the older videos contradict the newer videos so I try to stay recent. I was just going back in the history to see if I could learn something new or even see how things have changed.
My cousin has autism and this is what we watch when she is having a bad day. She really likes your videos and I let her try to do the stuff that you are doing on her nails. She really really enjoys your videos and I just wanna say thank you.❤️
UR STILL DOING VIDEOS!?!? I USED TO WATCH UR VIDEOS WHEN I WAS LIKE 13 AND FORGOT ABOUT YOU AT SOME POINT. THE NOSTALGIA!!!!!! and still AMAZING i see 🤣 so glad this came up in my recommended!!
I love it when she teaches. It's so calming, and after I listen to her, I say one day, I'll do it too bwhahahaha. I put her on repeat just for her tone to take a nap. 😅 I know this is odd, but it helps me. I love calming people. Their voice & tone are everything. So effective to teach & calm. I have problems sleeping, but calming voices help me nap or sleep 😅.
I need a full length vid. It's hypnotizing me.... Someone said "the Bob Ross of nails" & holy shit, that is the most on point description possibly OF ALL TIME
I HATE having things being done to my nails by other people (other than maybe my sister painting my nails w regular old polish on the rare occasion) BUT this video made me realize i might really enjoy doing other people's nails....
The gel always sticks to my brush.. I'm using 91% alcohol because its never been specified which volume alcohol to use.. Will 70% stop it from sticking?
u make that look so easy.. I've tried using the poly gel with the stickers, and I've tried the clear nail forms, and I cannot for the life of me get it to work for me.. but these look great!
I used to do nails as a hobby and I always used paint brushes and detailing tools for sculpting because they work the best. The cheap nail brushes are not for nails they should be in the trash. I hardly have found a nail kit with good quality brushes. I also use paint brushes to do my makeup for my eyes and lips to pick up the details in my skin. I am blessed with nice skin. My mom also had nice skin. My nails are not so nice though because I have dysplasia and I keep losing my fingernail on my left pointer finger. This time I have been working on keeping the nail from falling off. It is getting better slowly. I have spoken to my doctor about it too, there's nothing they can do. I can only do my best to keep my nails growing and healthy as long as possible. I do hate dysplasia, it's not nice to lose your hair and nails. It leaves a scar line on my head too. My hair hasn't been affected badly so my hair is still thick enough to cover the small balded areas. At least I know how to do nails so I can help keep mine healthy and strong. 😊
