I love you all so much!!! If you don’t have a stand mixer do it like how I did here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eHKwMkiaYA8.html ❤ have a blessed weekend 😘
Claudia you are the best thing that has ever happened to authentic Mexican cooking on RU-vid ever. All of my other plans for this weekend are now out the window. Because of you I will be making a boat load of chile rojo tamales. There will be no sodas or coffee however, cold beer and lots of it! You're the best 💓
@@CookingConClaudia hell na u fucked up with Chile powder cayenne n alot of extra shit that's yo way not the right way real tamales don't need half of that shit n u use a pressure cooker? N didnt do the masa by hand n ima just stop already good day ma'am tic tok n utube cooks yet again n others dnt know better so they give u the pass I'm sry but hell naa
Not as authentic as you might think. Never would we use green peppers, especially not in tamales. In general, it's not how mom/aunts/grandma would make tamales,
Hi, I really enjoyed the video covering how the masa consistancy looks while mixing, filling the pot with water, and tips on how to soak the corn husk. Such a great video 😍!

Girl I love you. These look delicious. Me and my DIL are going to make some for Christmas. My kids are Mexicano and I want to keep that tradition for them even though I am not with their father. Love this.
Another challenge! I’m ready to take this one on maybe tomorrow! Your an awesome content creator. So organized, neat and professional. Again keep the videos coming! Thank you for sharing your talent.
Yasss, I wanna know!! I have not found the right tastey, Mexican tamales here in Michigan. Hopefully your recipe can help me achieve what I always been looking for in tamales 🫔 😋
today I've seen like 10 videos of urs never saw u before but I ABSOLUTELY L💜VE them ESPECIALLY how u already have everything chopped up n we don't have to watch u chop everything up (ABSOLUTELY) so boring like other cooking channels anyway EVERYTHING u cook looks SOOOOO DELICIOUS lm going to try some of ur recipes thank u🙂🤗
These look so good!! Thank you for sharing. I usually make pork tamales but need to make these. I agree with you that making tamales is easy - just time consuming. I like to cook the meat on the first day then assemble and steam on the second day. Best to spread out the work.
Love following you and these tamales look delicious. I'm will be making them. I'm 🇵🇷 PuertoRican I love making pasteles, and I also love tamales. I want the recipe with salsa verde con Pollo ❤️ yummy 😋

I’ve always made ours wrapped in foil and with a banana leaf under the masa layer. My friends from Mexico taught me this way. I bought corn husks to use but there were white worm larva in them, so I went back to using foil. Do you notice a difference or have you ever wrapped yours in foil?
Some of the Southern Mexican states use banana leaves as well as Central America. You are supposed to rinse and wash them throughly. Then soak the corn husk for at least 5 hours before using them. I personally, like to add vinegar to my water to kill any bacteria.
Yes, I'm Central American and we use banana leaf not the corn husks. Although there is slight taste difference between the two I prefer the corn husk for tamales.
ok i did your masa as you instructed and it turned out to thin more like cream of wheat, so I added more maseca to get it to be thicker, did i do the right thing, they did turn out good other than I like more masa on our tamales. I like you because you speak a little slower and that helps me to understand what you are saying, us old ladies go slow. thank you for teaching us as we are unable to find any places that sell masa in my area, now I can make my own. another question I notice some people melt the lard before adding it in. is this ok or the way you do it better?
I love Tamales so much! And after buying And spending my Monies on something that don't taste good or tasty. I am going to try this year to make them myself and enjoy. I love this recipe already ❤️ I did not enjoy the ones made with beef. I love Pork! Thanks for sharing! Have a great Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎉. God bless you and your family 🙏
I always use a spoon since I thought those spreaders weren't worth it but since you use one I should try it!! I can always trust what you do in the kitchen. I keep burning myself with steam while cooking lately so I am glad you put out that warning. Steam burns hurt so much. 😥
Oh yess those dough cutters are amazing, let me tell you go to the dollar tree and get it there so you wont feel like it will be such a waste but i promise you it will be the best 1 invested!❤ and yesss be careful steam burns are no joke!
Hi Claudia. I love your videos and have been following you for a while. Is it possible that you could add the names of the meat in spanish as well? I live in a very latino neighborhood and if I go to the carniceria and ask for "chuck roast", I don't think they would know what I'm talking about lol....
Love, love, your videos! You are a great teacher. My question is my mom put anise in the caldo and she simmered it then added it to the masa. The taste is unique and the masa tastes delicious. Is this something you or family are familiar with?
