Guys love your channel If you don’t mind just a small suggestion, when talking about a town or place it would be nice to put up on a corner of the video the name, it is hard to look up the place without knowing how it is spelled. Thank you for the great videos😊

0:35 - Corvo and Flores islands; 2:30 - Monsanto village (don't mistake it with Monsanto urban park in Lisbon); 3:34 and 10:29 - Marvão and Castelo de Vide (Alentejo); 4:12 - Marvão castle; 5:45 - Gerês (a.k.a. Parque Nacional da Peneda e Gerês); 6:45 - Minho; 7:10 - Porto Santo island; 8:45 - Bragança; 8:52 - Rio de Onor; 9:04 - Mirandela; 9:22 - Montesinho (Natural Park); 9:38 - ? (sorry!); 9:48 - "Posta" or "Posta Mirandesa". My favourite used to be at "A Lareira" restaurant in Mogadouro but the rooms were crapy. IDK how it is these days... 10:19 and 11:27- Serra da Estrela; 10:29 - Piodão [pee-oh-dawm]; 10:24 - Alentejo; 12:56 - *?*martinha(?) and São Lourenço do Barrocal; 13:01 - "Herdade da Cruz" (...I guess); 13:12 - Vila Nova de Milfontes; 13:30 - Algarve; 13:35 - Vila Real de Santo António (Bravo, Joen!); 14:58 - Vidago; 17:00 - Pedras Salgadas. Tourism in Minho is growing a lot in the past years, but is mainly in the cities of Braga and Guimarães as a day trip from porto. Not many tourists explore the smaller towns or Gerês, exept the galicians.

It is exaggerated to say that the Portuguese have never heard of the Flores and Corvo islands, but it's true that probably never been to these islands! ;) There are at least 10 national natural parks in Portugal, but Geres is one of the best known and has wonderful waterfalls!

The National Park of Peneda-Geres is the only National Park. The other parks that you refer are Parques Naturais ( Natural Parks ) like Parque Natural da Serra da Estrela or Reservas Naturais ( Natural Reserves ) like Reserva Natural das Berlengas. There are 13 Natural Parks, 9 Natural Reserves and 1 National Park in Portugal.

Awesome video as always guys. You should definitely check out Povoa de Varzim / Vila do Conde next time you're in the North. By far one of the coolest and best beach towns during the Summer by far. Best Francesinha ever as well haha

When you get to Porto Covo, look for Lamelas restaurant. It's wonderful and the young lady owner chef has a fascinating story like The Bear. Enjoy and thank you for shining a light on Alentejo. See you in Lagos 🇵🇹

What a great compilation. We already know all of the Azores islands, Madeira and Porto Santo and the north of Portugal (Porto, Viana do Castelo, Braganca, Arouca, Peneda Geres). Our next plan is Alentejo (Castelo da Vide, Evora, Alcacer do Sal). Thanks for all the videos and information and keep strong avoiding alcohol. I feel it.

Gerês is not the only national park! There are more than 10 you've visited some of them like Sintra-Cascais (remember the pre-historical temple Adrenunes?), Arrábida, and others!

The other parks... are not exactly Nacional Parks... they have other designitions, (despite people call them parks)

Sintra-Cascais and Arrábida are Natural Parks not National Parks. Peneda-Geres is the only National Park here in Portugal.
