I think even if the city is already built, having it take place entirely in the city, could be their response to people saying scarlet and violet have open land with not much to do in between. Perhaps it will be a city jam packed with activities.

I think they labeled it as “Z-A” because it could be going from Z to A. Z can also be known as the “end” and A the “beginning, meaning, we will start after the war in the city (Z). Then go to the past (A) to see how it began and get more to the story as to how it unfolded

The white and light pink color of the Pokemon legends logo might be a hint towards Magearna's color scheme

I wouldn’t be surprised if “entirely in Lumious” also includes the surrounding route directly attached to it, like Liam said. Not to mention, if it’s gonna be historically similar to France/Paris development, the surrounding farmland and smaller villages outside the city were vital in its development.

Riddle Khu was FINALLY *wrong* and now he is mad because he got "discredited" after falsely giving a "Unova hint" before the Pokemon Presents and now wants attention again. Glad the "Pokemon Z" surprise happened (which Khu did NOT hint at whatsoever) and I hope this makes people forget about him and move on from his stupid attention-seeking "riddles".

Have been playing x and y over getting ready for the game. Ran into the pricy mansion where it is a massive unova reference. Even one npc says “The Kalos region and the Unova region must have been in contact with each other.” In the garden where reshiram and zekrom stand.

I’m curious how we’re gonna find Pokémon in that crowded of a map. Searching through the wilderness to find Pokémon was the best part of legends

only nintendo of america have stated it takes place only in the city all other accounts do not even the pokemon website states nothing of the sort

'Releasing simultaneously Worldwide' has nothing to do with the Switch 2 and everything with the regions. They're basically saying, all regions get the game at the same time/day instead of delays between Japan/US/EU

I would love it if we got a main pokémon game every 2 or 3 years, and gamefreak outsourced spinoff games to keep us happy while we wait. I would love to play new games of conquest, mystery dungeon, pokken, snap, ranger, pokepark, etc. The spinoff games are some of my favorite games of all time.

I was feeling like we'd still get them even after the presents. BDSP was the first remake in a long time that they announced as far out as they did! If we don't hear anything by July then I'll start to doubt if we are getting remakes this year.

Just thought of something there are five circles around the map they are mosr likely the alpha or megas on this game that are new you will need to fight them off to get new areas unlocked for the town

I don’t know if anyone noticed but when they zoom out to the whole outline of the city there’s little circles with different symbols which kind of look like type symbols so they may play a part in either gyms or exploration areas

I pray to god this isn’t real and they just focus mainly on the legends game

My idea is due to it being described as a RE-development. This doesn’t necessarily mean the future, but maybe after a war a city would be in ruin causing the rebuilding of luminous city in the location we would known today.

Maybe this will finally be our time to get the eternal flower event

I think Nintendo’s quote was misread lol. The city will probably be the hub like Jubelife City was. There’s absolutely no way we won’t be able to not leave it and travel to the various old towns, routes or where the legendaries sleep. Especially the infamous Power Plant. One of the things people loved about Arceus was the exploration. It hard to go off of a teaser and that vague post, but a Legends game being a 1 city simulator would be bad and lazy. 0% chance of it happening so, just keep an open mind. Another note is…Mewtwo and the 3 birds were in X and Y. Could we see new forms for them? The legendary birds mega evolving? Now that’s big news or how Hoopa, Volcanion and Diancie will play a role in the story

Here’s my theory: This game will involve time traveling. When it transitions from someone sketching pikachu to the animation of pikachu running in a futuristic city, it shows some quasar symbol right before it fully transitions. A quasar is a super massive black hole and I’m guessing when the ultimate weapon was fired, it made a black hole where the trainer can hop in and out throughout the game. Potentially jump from 3000 years in the past to the war to 3000 years after the war when everything were “better.” Team Flare is trying to steal the weapon from the past to use it in their present. Zygard plays a roll bc it’s also tryna stop team flare but half its cells are in the past and the half in the present and need to gather all of them. The Zygard cube will be prob play a HUGE part bc it’s part of the special research to catch Zygard in X and Y is called “From A to Zygard” and this game is called Pokémon Legends: ZA. That’s when we will also meet the guy AZ in the past along with his younger brother. I think they’ll also mention how mega evolutions were also made from the quasar. If you look up quasar, it “…releases energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation. The radiant energy of quasars is enormous;” Basically reminds me of the atomic bomb that happened in 1945 and how the radiation mutated animals. So the electromagnetic radiation from the quasar, Zygard (protector of the ecosystem) wanted to protect the people and Pokémon so it used its 100% form to absorb the radiation after the ultimate weapon was used and bc the radiation was so strong, it broke into different cells and scattered throughout the region. Bc Zygard absorbed the radiation, it prob “mutated” Pokémon and gave them mega evolutions when it went around the region as cells when it was near them. Zygard becomes 100% only when the ecosystem is in danger (Team flare tryna get the ultimate weapon again and wants to use it in the present). I’m prob like 99.99% wrong but damn this would be a banger of a story lol

Kinda over leaks at this point. Nobody, and I mean nobody, really foretold us about a Gen 6 related game coming out, a Legends one at that. Feels like everybody's just taking shots in the dark with whatever "sources" and "leaks" they have

I remember a lot of people talking about how the nothern part of Paldea is the blocked off area that is supposedly linking to Kalos. I believe the crater was really made by the doomsday weapon that AZ created to bring his Floette back to life. Pokemon Legends Z-A, I believe will have a part of the Paldea region you can visit. That northern section of Paldea has been locked the developers wouldn't have just kept that in for no reason. Area Zero = AZ. The story of Paldea and the crater will probably be different in the Mega Evolution universe of Pokemon. I feel like we will be traveling all across Kalos and Paldea.

The logo looks like the posters of black city and white forest you can find in the sv dlc when you change that battle room to the unova theme.

Is it possible that your character will switch between the past and future? The only other way I can think of the Lumiose map being enough for an entire game is if every NPC and every building has significance in gameplay

Remember Khu's riddle about the white forest and black city? The trailer for Z-A have similar elements. The old city tyle is like white forest but the newer city version is depicted similar to the black city. Just an observation could be wrong as well

What do y’all think the starters will be? As in legends Arcues we had starters from many generations do you think it will be the gen 6 starters or will it end up being 3 starters from 3 diffrent gens

I'm wondering why we don't know about starters yet. In the first bit of news for PLA, we knew starters, region name, and about some new Pokémon. We didn't get that here.

I feel like not a lot of people talking about how Pokémon in the logo is the exact color scheme of diancie with the pink to white gradient and grey border. Interesting to think how she will be involved

Now i know this sounds a little far fetched but hear me out for a minute. With the last legends game being about the mythical pokemon arceus. So with legends ZA coming out i looked through all mythical pokemon that could somewhat connect with both ZA in the title and lumiose city where the game will take place. The only 1 i can see is zeraora. Which has a Z in the begining of his name and an A at the end. Also is a electric type which lines up with lumiose city. Which as we all know has the electric type gym in x and y. So. Thoughts?

aDrive, bro something just came to me and I think you need to talk about it lol, but you know how in SV we got the synchronization tool that the NPC said was just a test, I think that is going to be the new battle mechanics in Pokemon Z-A being that in the new trailer we really see the focus of a player, it's all from the Pokemon perspective and they were the focal point, and the A is actually the ultimate weapon, but it could be one of the ABC "legendaries" mentioned in XY"Z" I think that would be cool too

I have a theory, what if AZ’s floette is the reason why the treasures of ruin came to life? I also thought about said treasures and came to a realization, they all have elements of objects you would find in an execution. The beads are the holy symbol carried by the holy figure overseeing the execution, the bowl obviously catches the head, the sword is the weapon and the tablets are the execution records so does that mean that AZ is the evil king depicted in those records? Kalos and paldea were part of the Great War in the history of X and Y.

Honestly they could do that and make it work remember s/v dlc and the terrarium they could do the same with this being in the whole city and having different levels

I don't look into Khu clues anymore because they can be interpreted and back-tracked to pretty much any region (and the code-name has to be the biggest stretch I've ever seen from a clue in general), but I sure hope we get something other than cell phone cards and dumb Legends game.

Ok so, ahead of Sword and Shield we got Let's Go, Pikachu and Eevee. Unova reamkes are TOO SOON! I know people really didn't like BDSP, but the games are still pretty fresh. Johto will be next, if anything.

I had a thought. What if every mon shown in this trailer will have a mega, new evo or new form in this game.

So Xerneas, zygarde, and Yveltal are a part of the World tree. Nidhogg would be the counterpart to zygard as nidhogg is the snake of the underworld. Also since these are based on the world tree, we can recall the crystalline tree from Paldea Underdepths.

Lots of things to think about. So my best guess on what we will get, is a post war game. Japan (and may places) had to undertake extensive rebuilding following WW2 which included their largest city at the time (Osaka being reduced to ruins). That means there was a lot of people who had to be rehomed. I can see the game being the local populous electing luminous town to be transformed to a city. Additionally, I don't believe we'll get eternal floette released until that game and it will come to you to find a place while waiting for AZ to be ready for its return upon your success in the rebuilding effort, as a way for it to attone for the lives lost

Simultaniously just means that there isn't a delay in different regions. Nobody is going to get it before anyone else.

They most likely will make a game in November focusing on x and y because they did for the first Legends game.

You say past but if this is prior to X&Y why would X&Y not have the canals originally especially if it’s the same timeline, I believe it’s the future, also why would we be tasked in rebuilding or creating Lumiose city if we’re only able to be in the city implying the already exists when we start, I think what we were shown was either hinting to the future with the holographic/AR look or it’s just a skeleton mesh of the city so people couldn’t see if anything was hidden on the buildings or in the scenery which explains why it also looks like a blueprint of the city (this is just thoughts on what we shown & we won’t know exactly until TPC & Game Freak are ready to give more info on this which possibly won’t happen until towards the end of the year especially if they do plan to release a game this year)

Whether or not a remake is on the way. IT would be a mistake to not have the full pokedex available on switch. With the switch 2 on the horizon... high hopes for legends.

I'm looking forward to this game. It has alot of potential and tge over map is huge. I saw some comments about ppl complaining about it taking place solely in the city and honestly that's not a big deal since alot of major France city have huge undercorft, sewer systems, and a under city. So even if the game takes place solely in the city it can potentially have many lower layers building up the foundation to the city with countless habitats for pokemon. With the theme urban redevelopment it sounds like we are going to be trust a new role different from the main stream role of collecting and training pokemon across the land filling up pokedex and challenging a pokemon league. It seems to me we are just going to be an every day person living in the city and our job is helping with the reconstruction of the city and its under layers and in the process capture, train, pokemon to aid in protecting job sites and or drive away an evil team or organization bent on stopping the redevelopment of the city that favors co-existence with ppl and pokemon. I really love the legends game because its so rich in characters, story, lore, music, and its a break from being in the traditional role of pokemon trainer and being able to see how everyday life is for ppl who are not pokemon trainers traveling across the region to take on a pokemon league. Its a nice break from being a pokemon trainer to do something else in the world of pokemon besides going from region to region challenging pokemon leagues.

Maybe they initially planned for the remakes of Black & White for 2024 similar to BDSP, but decided to push to 2025 to polish? It would push back the 3-year Gen cycle though so idk
