I love the part about gentrification! They doing the same thing to my hood! Eastside of Wilmington Delaware. It's heartbreaking. Just give us the same style homes just with new material!
we need the successful black people of our community to INVEST in our communities instead of moving to the suburbs and sending their kids to better schools. what happens is, their tax money goes towards that community. if they moved back to the black areas or to the black areas for the first time, then those communities would be gentrified by black people. but as successful black people, we don't believe in investing in the black communities..we have no sense of duty to make our schools/neighborhoods better. the other ethnic groups are doing what our successful people are supposed to do.
