I am a pastor and I have made my mistakes and when I was a boy I was a sinners and denied God but when I became a Man I repented of my sin ways and asked Jesus Christ do for repentance of my sins I gave all my wicked and sinful ways up and live my life for our Father Jesus Christ for he died for our sins I believe I become a pastor to show the lost and the sinners like I was before I became a man of God Then we all can we all sin a few are chosen to minister unto a congregation but we all are called to minister to others who are not Christ like

I have a testimony. I once owned a home that had three nice rose bushes in the front facing the road. Everyone complemented us for their beauty. I stayed on top of them. I cared for them because I knew it made others happy including my wife. She adored them. In October of 2012 here came superstorm Sandy ripping up the eastern United States. For many it was flooding rain but for us in West Virginia it was 18” of heavy wet snow. The weight of that snow crushed all three of my rose bushes all the way to the ground. Then snow slid down off my roof piling on top of my already crushed rose bushes. They were heavily damaged. So once the snow melted I cleaned up the broken branches and cut off the severity damaged branches. That was that. So the spring of 2013 rolled around and much to my surprise the rose bushes bloomed more beautiful than ever before. 2014 the roses were even more beautiful than 2013. Take from this story what you will. I know what I’ve taken from it. Thank you for reading this. May God bless you all.

Thank you Pastor Rick, it just beats me how much teaching means, especially in Christianity. We usually take for granted that we are the child of God, but we rarely go into the depth of its meaning. Thank you for such a great message on fruit. When you brought up the story of Jesus cursing the tree, it made me think about why Jesus would curse the tree when it is a creation of God. In another example, Mark 4:35-41, Jesus rebukes the storm. Why is it that Jesus is rebuking and cursing things that have been made by God? Jesus would never rebuke and/or curse God Himself, so how can He rebuke and/or curse His creation? I comprehend the deeper meaning (be fruitful, have faith), but am curious why cursing and rebuking was the choice of action Jesus used, especially when they are creations of His Father.
