Season 2 has between 20 to 22 episodes. There's still between 9 to 11 episodes left. Alex Hirsc even said himself, that "Not What He Seems" was made as a mid-season finale for season 2.
For all those people who think Mabel can also be the llama, you are wrong. Because in the episode dreamscaperes, or something like that, Mabel, dipper and soos enter stans mind, while bill cipher calls them 'the question mark, shooting star, and pine tree'
BTW, you know in the episode where Mable meets waddles, turns out when they pass the mystery shack (without all the signs 'n stuff) we see what we thought was gruncle stan, wrong! it was his twin brother! I can't believe that!
Gravity Falls Theory Time 1-I fully think that Wendy is represented by the Ice, not only because not many other characters are shown with ice (Dipper, Thompson, etc.) but like ice, she is cool, and I think its a pun. 2-I think the Author/Stan's brother is represented by the Glasses, and that the 6 fingers are calls to either the journals themselves, or Hiddleford because I just don't think he would be excluded. 3-I think the entire Bill Cipher Circle is a dial, and something that will react once all the characters are together. Kind of like a recipe, so we need all the characters that are in the dial with the Journals to be able to do whatever they need to do. And just something I was thinking that could be done to throw us all off, what if there were six journals. The first 3 we know about, but what about the 30 years Stan's brother spent in the other dimension. This could also somehow lead to how Robby knows about the dark reverse magic or how it says Soos knows more than he shows. I really like the idea that the Llama is Pacifica, because like most people I hated her until I stared supporting Dipcifica. I really want to see more of Pacifica Northwest, and Specifica EastWest (This is joke, say hi to joke).
Ugly Utter I also feel like there are more journals. Each person that is represented on the dial probably has a journal that ties to them. And maybe the other books make a different map or guide like the first three
Possibly, I feel like if there are other journals that the 3 other journals (one for each finger) is shared or is known to certain characters, and have like the anti information the journals we know about don't have. Like the other 3 journals know how to summon Bill and combined can create a portal to another dimension. Well what if the other 3 can open a dimension back to earth?
You are awesome and I enjoy that you are still talking about gravity falls. I know it was big at first, but everyone just stopped for example nostalgia critics vlogs stopped, but you can make amazing videos :) keep up the amazing work
LewToons I theorize that the ice pack is either Blendin Blandin or the Time Baby. Blendin because he was first fully introduced in The Time Traveler's Pig when Dipper bumped into him while holding a bag of ice. And the Time Baby because he was frozen in a glacier, according to the Northwest document in Irrational Treasure. Also who wouldn't want to have a giant inter-dimensional baby as an important plotpoint?
"The handyman knows more than you think" Who was the handyman before Soos came along? That's right, I don't think the police officers aren't as dumb as they appear!
About Robbie, I noticed a flaw between episodes where he appeared. One, the portraits of his growing up in his house. Two, in the time travel episode, we meet him as a child. The thing is, the portraits show that he only got dark and moody around his teenage years, but when we see him as a kid, he's far from cute and innocent. How could that be? Sure, you could say it was just some silly error... But then again, this is the Gravity Falls fandom. NOTHING IS AN ERROR. Anyway, thoughts?
The glasses could represent Stan's Brother, and the six fingers could represent the journals furthermore representing Old Man McGuckett as he contributed in them
James Richardson It seems so obvious ..... but Alex Hirsch will do something like that. Or use it to just lead on that Wendy is the red herring where in fact someone else is the red herring, making Wendy the Red Herring of the Red Herring. . . Now I just understood the bully from 'A Pup Named Scooby Doo."
I want Robbie, Wendy, and Pacifica to be more involved in the story. They obviously are somehow connected to the mysteries of the town and I think will be built on more. Especially Robbie
Lps Valeria I agree! I feel like Pacifica and Wendy have just been too well developed to not be an integral part of the story, they've spent way too much screen time on them for them not to play an important role.
Of course I could be wrong, but I honestly don't think Grunkle Stan is the fish symbol. I know it was on his hat, but...I think Grunkle Stan is the Glasses, and the fish symbol is someone else...maybe someone belonging to a secret society w/that symbol? Maybe McGucket? You know how the symbol on Grunkle Stan's hat changed? At first I thought it was just because the goat ate the hat, but now...maybe Grunkle Stan left whatever society he belonged to, and thus had to change his hat? Eh, guess we'll find out. :) Also yeah, I think Wendy is the Ice bag and Pacifica is the Llama. :)
River Spirit It's not. They had to change Stan's fez because it was offensive in some country over sea's. The goat eating it was a clever way of changing it.
DoubleJ not true on reddit someone asked alex about his fez and why it changed and he put a picture of a fish so its a spoiler so that means theres a reason why it changed
Anthony Barnes Yes true, I read on reddit this guy asked why it changed and Alex said that he changed it because it was similar to some Middle Eastern flags.
I don't think Old Man McGucket is a complete red herring. He does have an important part, even though he's not on Bill Cipher's Wheel. I think maybe he wasn't supposed to be a part of all this (that's why he's not on the wheel) and that his involvement was a complete accident. I think the moment he accidentally flew into that portal, he became an important part of the puzzle that wasn't meant to be there. I do hope to see McGucket again. I miss him already. I also hope to see more of Pacifica's path towards redemption. She's shown she's not completely rotten, and I hope she'll develop more into a better person.
u know on the episode "Dreamscapers" in the scene where Soos, Dipper and Mabel first come in the mind of Stan, Bill calls Dipper "pine tree" and he calls Soos "question mark" and he also calls Mabel "shooting star". This confirms their role on the Bill cipher wheel.
For the wheel I think the glasses represent that author because he has the same type of glasses. I think that the hand is the book because all of the books has the same hand on them.
Yeah and the show is 22 episodes long this season so this next episode isn't the finale beside it be too short last season it was 20 episodes, and I know season 2 is 22 as I read about it and imb saids it too
+Lew Toons On the episode about the blind eye when they are watching the old mans memory he makes the bill cypher symbol whilst the memory shows him speaking "gibberish" in the scrap yard
I just have to say! What if Stan is Soos's dad!! In an episode Stan was talking about how he had been all around the state and Soos has like a million letters from different places!!! I know they don't look alike but whatever!
Awesome video Chad :D I do not usually ship characters but for this one I agree #Dipcifica all the way :3 Also, mind if I send you a message of a teaser for a video I've been working on related to Gravity Fall? :)
Yay! I'm so glad I'm not the only one happy about #Dipcifica. I didn't know it ever existed until Northwest Mansion Mystery showed up and at the end of the episode I shipped it so hard! I thought I was the only one who thought so, until I image searched it and found ALL of the fan fiction, art ect. I LOVE THIS SHIP SO MUCH. #DIPCIFICA
I think the Northwest family is DEFINITELY going to come in sooner or later. we saw the llama representation, and they're deeply involved in the town and it's past. also the bill tapestry in manor is a HUGE clue that they have something to dilo with bill and his plan. really looking forward to that. also #Dipcifica
Remember when Alex said that someone wasn't going to survive the rest of the season? What IF he meant McGuckett? I mean, McGuckett didn't get any character development until season two and if they had done it sooner, it maybe wouldn't have as much of an impact. And as you said, he doesn't seem to have a place within the circle...And maybe this is the reason why. Plus, it would be kinda pointless to mention that a character will die if they're as "miner" as Big Henry... ...Sorry. I'm so sorry.
Dawn Wayfinder I actually think stan will die (the stan we know), because we saw the stan sock puppet burn and the stan hot air baloon burn. We also saw stan landing in a coffin in the end of the pterodactyl episode in season 1. If what i'm saying is correct (i'm not saying that it is), then it might be possible that the bill cipher wheel event might happen in the end of season 2 (before he dies). this event may be the reason he dies (if he dies). Eh who knows
Dawn Wayfinder I think waddles dies, cause in response to a comment asking about waddle's role in season two, he replied "reading that comment made me sad."
To Jelly Pancakes Comment The show is being cancelled? We still have season 3. The show was going to be 3 seasons. I don't understand why your saying this show is cancelled.
Is there a reason why you can't directly reply to the comment you are referring to? This makes it way easier for people to know whom you are talking about
eywright It might be that the person who made the original comment made it so you can't respond. I *HATE* when they do that. Especially if they asked a question. It's like, "DO YOU WANT YOUR ANSWER OR NOT, BITCH!?"
+lyonstar Toby isn't a main character, but it could be McGucket. Why? If the wheel was only people, then the hand has to represent Ford, like the glasses speculate him to be.
He is probably just a red herring that wont play a huge part in the final mystery but I'm a sucker for seemingly simple characters with a tragic backstory so Old Man McGucket is my favourite. .
ik im from 2020 but THAT DOSENT MATTER IM GONNA ASUME SOMETHING So at the end when bill made a deal with standford or so called stanley when he went into his mind he was a rock with a hand out What if in like 12 years they make the rock start cracking of bill and then its done cracking BILL IS BACK!? And Possibly A Gravity falls 2? Gravity falls the movie? We Will Never know
I watched the last episode of gravity falls and here is what I found : 1.the pines tree is dipper , mable is the shooting star ,the question mark is soos , grunkle stan is the picture on the fez which is the hat he wears, and the tent of telepathy eye is gideon. 2.the six fingers is grunkle stan's brother , the heart was robbie , the llama was pacifica , the glasses was mcgucket and wendy is the icebag . 3.remember the llama shirt mable wears in the wax statue episode , that was what pacification first took out of a clothes bag , so she simply wore it . 4.the cipher table we saw in the theme song was a magical circle , if you draw that and you put theme like how I told you they would be invincible.(fyi pacifica called it the most confusing game of hopscotch.) If you guys are sitting there scratching your head , I'd prefer you took watch all the episodes .
i know all so these are all..... Pine tree=Dipper Shooting Star=Mabel Journal symbol=Great Uncle Ford Llama=pascifica Ice=Wendy Glasses=Mcduggets Cressent noon with a dot=stan Heart with a stich=Rogny
5:50 the flash of Stan and that symbols on Bill. The Stan he sees isn't Gruncle Stan ( the one we have know ) It's the original Stanford ( The twin we just learned about ) and the symbol is the same thing on Gruncle Stan the " tattoo " that we learn is a burn
well, i say the story isn't complete yet so alot will change in the future and maybe some new character is going to be in the movie, so i guess we'll never know, until that, keep making new episodes, we love it!
I think that McGucket is the glasses. I think that S2E16 will be called "Roadside Attraction" and will feature some Candy development. I also think that Season 2 won't end with Episode 12 which will probably be called "A Tale of Two Stans", but will end with the two-part Series Finale called "Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back the Falls" and "Weirdmageddon 4: Somewhere in the Woods". I hope I'm right.
am I the only one who noticed he was watching his evidence on RU-vid? I was watching closely. he ran his mouse over the bottom and the pictures for the video he was recording popped up like when u rewind and fast forward on RU-vid :0
oh maybe the possible that characters of of gravity falls is dipper's personality, soos because of the lab password that he changed, toby's glasses are totally desame but not as in perfectly, roby can possible too because of the tape it can be possibly and the rest gideon ,bill ,pacifica ,mr.pines ,old mcgucket and the rest of it
Although she's not a 'loose end' character I think something will happen to mable. because if you watched episode 13 mable gets worried about her and dipper's close relationship so I'm getting the feeling that maybe grunkle Stan might tell mable something but not to tell dipper but she'll tell dipper sooner or later and dipper will get suspicious like he always does
Everyone in gravity falls say its a boring old town....(not including main characters)so if they say its a boring town, then why are there all those people trying to take over?As in-Lil'Gideon,Bill Cypher, etc.
Pine tree:Dipper Shooting Star:Mabel Llama:Pacifica Glasses:McGugect Question Mark:Zoose Ice:Wendy Heart:Robbie Normal Star With Eye:Gideon Hand:Ford Aka Author Of Journals Fish:Stan
The show has confirmed that the symbols belong to one character each. Remember in Dreamscaperers when Bill refers to Dipper, Mabel and Soos as Pine Tree, Shooting Star and Question Mark? He doesn't refer to Mabel as both Shooting Star and Llama like we once thought. And btw the glasses are definitely Toby XD
I have a theory that the people in the circle are going to be defeated. Think about it now. Mabel is in the bubble, Robbie is turned to stone, Ford is turned to gold, Stan is missing, Gideon went to fight Bill, and the journals were burned. This is a lot of characters that were defeated (or in Gideon's case, probably going to be defeated)that are theorized to be on the wheel. I think it's all up to the side characters now. Also, notice how it's all side characters around the fire in the Bill Cipher intro? What if they are the ones who destroy Bill?
Maybe the glasses belong to Shermy (The grandfather/grandmother). We've seen both Ford and the Stan Twin's father with similar glasses to the one on the wheel, so it would make some sense that he/she could own a similar pair. And he/she is about 15-17 years younger than the Stan Twins, so it's also plausible to assume that they are still alive and may appear in Gravity Falls sometime later on. Just a guess, really.
on the blind eye episode I found out that mckguckens used to be fords partner on the episode where Ford is telling dipper that he thought Bill was a friend and he now knows he's not it shows his partner and that's mcguckens
I think the news reporter dude (forgot his name. XD) is the glasses and he'll have a part. Especially, after knowing he did a bid with Gideon in the past. It's not hard seeing him doing it again.
when stanford and his brother were little and on the beach they found a place and wrote their names etc... on the wood they broke to get into that place, there was a name, Tommy Duke...
Just thought about this but hear me out: Robbies parents are morticians who seem too happy all the time. Robbie does have similarities with the zombies and know about the weirdness and the magic of Gravityfalls. What if he has died and his parents brought him back to life? It would explain the permasmile of the parents (the have faced the worst that any parent could and know that if something would happen they could just revive him again?) and it would explain Robbies sudden fall into his emoness and the similarities with zombies...
This might be out there, but I think the glasses might be Stan and Ford's dad, Filbrick Pines. They look like his and I think Ford would have realized the 6-fingered hand was himself. They could bring him in since Mabel did send a letter and told everyone that he's alive, but the only proof I have is a scene from A Tale of Two Stans. When Stan is in his car looking at the picture of him and his brother, their dad is randomly pasted in there and darkened in the background. They do like to hide stuff like that, like that lama in the Northwest house.
In One Episode you can see that Mcgacket HAD six fingers so the hand can be for Mcgacket cause he seems very important to me and the glasses from Stanley's twin brother would fit perfect too.
I've always noticed how that goat has those weird yellow eyes. Nothing much, until I realized that they looked kind of like the eyes of bipper (the name used when bill possessed dipper). Coincidence? We may never know!
