The Secrets Of Horseshoe Las Vegas The Good & Bad of Staying here 

Stayed last Nov. when I was there for a trade show. Rooms are large but not too fancy, Loved having the mini fridge. It was easy to get from my room(resort tower) to the Monorail which made it easy to get to the convention centre. I also liked that it's paired with Paris so I can dash over and get my "Mon Ami Gabi" fix. Last but not least I seem to get great comps with this hotel and it seems to be one of the lower priced Caesars properties.

We love staying at Ballys/Horseshoe. The rooms at the Jubilee tower are the better in my opinion. Spacious rooms. Not shoulder to shoulder packed. Best bang for your buck on the Strip! Sad to hear they will become Paris.

So happy you were not a fan of the Bizzare shops. They look bad and spoil the appearance of the whole corner. Horseshoe was Ballys which was MGM. First place I stayed in Vegas and I have always liked it. Nice view! Lucky you. Thanks for the good video!

The monorail is a you have to pay monorail. It was very efficient. Got us to where we wanted to go without having to pay for a taxi.😊 I stayed at horseshoe stayed in the Jubilee tower, which was very nice because we got a view of the Paris pool with the Eiffel tower. Also seeing the Bellagio fountains going off it was very nice especially for the price. Location of wonderful spray that is connected to the Paris hotel. It also is very nice to have the monorail connected to the Horseshoe. We didn’t really eat at the horseshoe. I will say this when I did stay, it was quite warm down in the lobby/ casino . They were having a lot of problems with the air conditioning, but the tower was cool and in the room was cool. Thank you, Matthew.

Good video, we stayed years ago at Ballys years ago for a nascar race, was comped & pretty basic. These rooms look much nicer. Looking forward to next video,👍🏻

My last 3 trips to Vegas were at the Jubilee tower, and I specifically requested that same gorgeous view. The furniture was a little banged up and outdated, but I liked the low key vibe, location, and lots of nearby food options. Always appreciate your Vegas videos and reviews, Matthew. Keep up the great work.

Have been staying at Ballys exclusively for years now. Now it’s Horseshoe will see if it still maintains the cheaper rates. The standard rooms are larger than most and as you say, the location can’t be beat. Good video!

Hi Matthew!!! You are so brave for both staying there at Horseshoe and for walking to Ellis Island at night. I just can't do it, too clairsentinent. I will be checking out the casino again, the food options, and hopefully the Speakeasy in the future!

First time I went to Vegas, in 1991, I stayed at Bally’s. It was a nice room, still had some touches from when it was MGM grand a decade before. My view was of the shopping area tucked in behind O’shea’s on Flamingo Blvd. not bad but not all that much to brag about. It was a pleasant stay and a good introduction to Vegas. I often visited on trips afterward but never stayed there again.

My first stay in Vegas was at Ballys, and it served my purposes very well. Location was great, planned for the limited food and drink options, room was tidy and fine.

I really enjoyed watching the final product. Being there for some of the filming and then seeing the added content when I was away is neat. I enjoyed my couple stays at Bally's. It's a great location on the strip. A little petty with the early check in fee. It wasn't even an hour away. I hope you enjoyed your trip. I sure did!

Nice to see they turned the lights on inside the lobby casino. It used to be a dark cave inside real creepy.

Stayed at Horseshoe back in May/June: it was pretty good, I'm more of a Resort Tower guy (unless you get an end room, Jubilee Towers has all the noise of the fountain show with none of the views). While the food options in the hotel itself is limited, it's a fairly short walk into the walkway mall to Paris and it's fairly easy to get to Guy Fieri's, The Bedford, and the Paris Nobu. Also, the best mid-market (as opposed to high roller) poker room. You will be walking though, we didn't have a full day staying there the last 2 years when we didn't have at least 18,000 steps. As for the Grand Bazaar shops-the bars and restaurants (I used to like Fuel Bar, but haven't been in awhile) right near the casino aren't terrible, and putting Old Red & Bottle Blonde up front will help, but everything in-between was eh.

Hi Matthew! I have stayed at bally’s/horseshoe twice. I thought the same thing as you. Good vibe, great location!

I’m done with center strip. The homeless, the weed smell, constant construction , escalators always out, I’m headed down toward Venetian or Palazzo next trip. Once you go to that property, you’re ruined. Black Tap was the best burger I’ve ever had the shake was awesome too.

I was there two weeks ago, and I definitely recommend taking your son to the dino exhibit - it was pretty cool.

Love it there. Have stayed 4 times as Bally's 9:00 . Will be there in September as Horseshoe. Very underrated place. Great for the price. Best location and connected to Paris.

I used to get upset at the late check in, as we arrive around 9 am to the Mirage. But then I realized, it doesn't matter if my luggage is in the room, or at the bell desk, it doesn't impact on my going to grab a bite to eat and a cocktail.

Good video Have stayed a few times when it was Balley's Not since it changed to Horse shoe though , but looks like Balley's with a new dress. Do like the connection to Paris . One place we like and would like to see a video is Cromwell . would like peoples opinion of Cromwell ?

Used to stay there every year for tradeshow and enjoyed it. Super convenient with monorail and strip access on the best corner in Vegas!! Funny story got upgraded to same room but hated it as Bellagio fountains are air cannons and shows every 15 min till midnight….. hard to sleep to the 💥 Booms that often.

Hi Matthew, of my many trips to Vegas Bally's was my go to place. Have not been in the Horseshoe yet, but still looks pretty similar to Bally's, do like the lucky Horseshoe carpeting. My main complaint when I stayed is, I too like to have a view if possible of the Strip of the Bellagio fountains. I am not sure if it still applies, but looking at your view was great, but saw the Eifel Tower right across. There use to be a night club somewhere in the middle of the tower or maybe the top. Depending on the day of the week, the club had different hours. Problem was the club was open till I believe 4am and the sound of the bass of the DJ, would just blow the doors off my room. Asked the front desk to help out with the issue, their response was, we have ear plugs at the front desk. Did you have any issue with noise from the club? Thanks so much. P.S. Ellis Island is a great deal, but the area around it is hella sketchy. Stay safe.

Whenever I go to the strip I try to stay at the Horseshoe or Paris. I had a really bad experience at Caesars Palace last year so I refuse to go there. The Paris is my favorite though there are too many celebrity restaurants. I don’t like the Bazaar shops at all and I do think more food options should be available in the Horseshoe kind of like the the two places that were closed. I do plan to try the new Flavortown restaurant.

Kinda wish the arcade had more of a variety. I’m down $30 and didn’t win any prizes from the claw machine so ai yah! The Cabinet was pretty cool, need to make reservations. It was kinda dead when I went in 2022 to the Cabinet. Drinks are fantastic and got me lit.

Staying there in two weeks for 2 nights, then NY NY for 2 nights. Was in there many times as Bally's. Temps will be sizzling 🔥. Food at Ellis Island is great, I wouldn't walk that at night.

Used to get the steak special everytime I’d go to Ellis. Not anymore. The BBQ special is a million times better

Since Horseshoe is losing a tower to Paris, it would be cool if sometime in the not-too-distant future Horseshoe gets a new tower, presumably in the back parking lot area adjacent to Flamingo Rd. I doubt that will happen though. Caesars decided that Horseshoe is not as popular as Paris

On your room, specifically, it might be a designated "comp room" nice view, though. It will be better after renovation. Love your videos, very informative

My room was bigger at Bally’s. There is darker lighting at Horseshoe. My luck ran out.

I stayed at Ballys 3 years ago and found the stall to be great, the casino drink service the best of everywhere we went, casino payback pretty good and the room, as you noted, was spacious. Only bad point in the room was the total lack of USBs and no outlets anywhere near the desk or credenza. I was also in the Jubilee tower - the walk from the other tower is pretty long. Finally as someone mentioned, it every day there was a nonfunctional escalator somewhere--and the GB shops are UGLY! Most of them are empty so I hope they are removed.

The Mexican spot was great!! My friends and I used to get there fishbowls haha it’s a shame it’s gone

I hate corporate names like Harrah's and Bally's! Horseshoe just sounds Vegasy! I don't mind some wear and tear in a room, especially at older properties, but these places could put some black or brown matching dye on the nicks and chips to cover it up. In many cases you can't even tell there was damage. Looks like a nice place, but I'm curious about the remaining tower rooms!🤔

I stayed in the old resort tower in May and the safe did not work and the remote for the TV was gone / I told the desk about it and they did nothing / justb gave me 25 dollars for coffee / the view I got was great however / Hi up floor / Johnny

The horseshoe carpet is pretty cool! How would compare the Flamingo and Horseshoe for both value and convenience proximity to the Strip?

I like it. Its more about location. If your Diamond status. You wont have to wait to checkin to your room.

Stayed there about a month ago and I wasn't impressed . Hopefully they do some more renovating. The best part is the location. Oh one more thing they reeeeeeaally need to get the escalators working

I'd put hs ahead link flamingo and Harrah's ceasars sure have let flam n harrHs go downhill filthy rooms I like hs rooms big an clean

I've never stayed at Bailey's, now Horseshoe, not my type of place. As for my favorite place to stay on the Strip? The Aria, Cosmo, and Vdara.
