I went back and watched David’s ranking each other’s dating profile video, after seeing this. And omg, it was so sweet seeing how nervous Alex got when they were going through Alexxis’ profile. He was touching his face, and taking his rings on and off, swaying back and forth, nervous laughing, and smiling from ear to ear. But then for every other profile, he’s perfectly calm. Also, after they went through Alexxis’ profile and she was grabbing her phone, Alexxis looked right at Alex and goes, “Gotta blast.” Which was such a cute call back, and it’s crazy because nobody knew what she was referencing besides Alex. It was just so cute to watch that, especially after hearing Alex talk about that here.

i used to watch bobby’s vlogs a lot back in the day (even before the half of it came out) and i remember seeing alexxis’ personality on there and i always thought that her and alex could be good friends (partners even, but alex was taken at the time). so when david’s video came out years later and their personalities matched up it solidified what i originally thought lol. so many little instances where their lives intertwined and fate eventually brought them back together 🥺💞

Absolutely loved this one!!! Love that we got to hear more of the backstory and that there was even a part that Alex was hearing for the first time! Hearing bits of the story on David’s channel about how Alex & Alexxis first originally met, I remember thinking she must be special if he remembered her from all those years ago since he has a pretty bad memory. The nezza story…iykyk 😂😂😂. Even more convinced the two have been connected by invisible string this entire time. It was all in His timing, the universe, whatever you believe in. The comments on David’s video were making me mad!! Tara definitely has a very loud and passionate fanbase and while that’s great, it also sucks when it comes to situations that are falsely portrayed for the sake of views. And Jake and Tara still have very passionate fans that want them to get back together that any guy or girl that breathes near them will get hate. Luckily, alexxis is now with alex many years after “Laurex” because if it was within that first year of the breakup, the hate comments…🥴. Like remembering it all now, poor Jeremy. But alexxis, you are very much loved by a majority of Alex and co’s fans! I’m confident this will always be a safe space for you!

alexxis always came off as the most genuine, sweetest, overall down to earth person of the group straight away when i first seen her on david’s channel. seeing the comments on that clipped video on tiktok came to me as a surprise of how gullible people are to fall for something so clearly satire. most of them didn’t even watch the full debate video either before pausing to comment hate

this was such a fun podcast, i laughed the entire time and i loved hearing the 'how did you meet' stories! the amount of times yall would reconnect by chance just solidifies the thought that yall were meant to be in each others lives - your personalities match up so well, the love just radiated thru the screen hahah hope to see more of #lexxlex

Aww Alex, you are very lucky to have found someone who isn’t pressuring you into a proposal. She seems genuine in waiting till you’re ready. But have to agree with your friend that you’re always going to find an excuse to put it off because life is life and things are always popping up and changing. Remember you don’t have to get married right away or you can do what Aaron and Roni did and have a really small wedding first and plan for a bigger one later. But also long engagements are a thing. Speaking from experience, even if I’m not getting married right away, just having the commitment and the title of calling my significant other my fiancé instead of just boyfriend feels better. Like Roi being like “I get to say my wife, my wife, my wife.” And for my fiancé, he says seeing the engagement ring of my finger makes him feel so happy. So, don’t overthink so much! I’m sure everyone brings it up because they can see how no one has been more right for you than Alexxis! You can tell Roni is just itching to officially call Alexxis her sister-in-law lol! Didn’t think a pod was coming out this week when there wasn’t one on Spotify this morning so this was such a pleasant surprise! So happy that yalls first guest was Alexxis! We finally got more backstory and it’s so cute how everything came to be! Not Alex dropping a grand on a bird and it still passing away 😭. That’s actually very sweet and on par with something he’d do for a girl he really liked, even if there was no intention of her finding out. The non-date and then her still going back to her ex, poor Alex lol. Not sure when this fits in his own timeline with his love life but there was def a stretch of bad luck in relationships and then this lol. Glad it eventually worked out in his favor though! Sometimes you just gotta go back to the ex unfortunately even if you know they’re not right for you. I mean I’m sure Alex gets it considering he had an on and off thing too lol. Alex for the most part is pretty humble but I think you bring him back down esp after dating other girls in the past who are about the money and being flashy about things. And you are the kindest because I remember seeing on IG you even defending his ex when said ex has definitely liked or egged on comments that belittle Alex and or the girl he was seeing at the time. You seem to give him patience and grace when you’re right I think many other women would get upset at some of the things he says or does 😂. But after seeing more videos of her and this podcast, I feel so sorry for her. She seems like such a sweet heart and seeing people make be so mean over something so small and taken out of context is just stupid. If alex waits for wassabi to get off the ground to propose then 7 years might be close to real lol. No hate bc I think in general views and engagement are down for other people too. But also need to be a bit realistic and practical about the future especially with what you invest your time and money into. There are so many creators now that I think it’s just going to continue to be a struggle to take off with the type of content they’re doing on WP. I don’t know if alex reverting that channel back to that type of content from being his personal channel was worth the gamble. But silver lining is that it offers a fresh start for a new channel and per Aaron’s vlog, he has a new camera so let that be the push to just start and not wait for December. It may be what pops off for him. Anyways, this was the best episode so far. Alexxis really is lovely and very articulate. I know they’d probably never do a couples podcast but we definitely need more of her insight.
