Sir, Jay and Vijay were not bodyguard but gate keepers of Vaikunth lok. When 4 Sanat rishis gave curse to them. They said either take birth for 7 times and become biggest follower or take 3 times birth and be enemy of Lord Vishnu. As Jay and Vijay didn't want to stay away from lord Vishnu, thus they took 3 times birth as enemy of lord Vishnu. 1) Hirnyakash and Hirnakashaypu 2) Ravan and Kumbhkaran 3) Shishupala and Dantavakra

I think Ravan said the truth about his death to his wife Mandodari only, and Vibhisan knew that only she knew that how to kill Ravan, and tricked her into revealing it. Atleast, I heard that in the narration my grandma said. Also, actually Sita being heavenly beautiful was actually told by surpanakha to her brother, which aimed his ego, that such beauty should belong to him, the Almighty king and not a mere banvasi.

एक कथा ये भी प्रचलित है की रावण पूर्व जन्म में भगवान विष्णु के वैकुंट धाम में द्वारपाल जय विजय में से एक था जिसे 4 ब्राह्मण कुमारों ने इसलिए श्राप दिया क्युकी वो उन्हें प्रभु के दर्शन नहीं करने दे रहे थे वही जय विजय अगले जन्म में हिरण्य कश्यप फिर कुछ और रूप में जन्म लिए फिर वो जब उनका जन्म रावण के रूप में हुआ तब उसे भगवान के हाथो मुक्ति मिली । रावण अच्छी तरह जानता था उसे मुक्ति देने के लिए ही भगवान ने अयोध्या में जन्म लिया है । रामायण में कई श्राप वरदान बन गए जैसे महर्षि नारद का विष्णु को दिया गया श्राप की एक समय आने पर उन्हें वानर जैसे अधम प्राणियों की आवश्यकता पड़ेगी , देवी अहिल्या को दिया गया श्राप फिर भगवान द्वारा उनका उद्धार किया जाना, दशरथ का पुत्र वियोग में प्राण जाना, सबसे महत्व पूर्ण बात रामचरितमानस के अनुसार रावण द्वारा माता सीता के हरण से पहले जब लक्ष्मण वन में लकड़ियां काटने गए तो प्रभु ने माता सीता को बुलाया और उन्हें अग्नि देव के संरक्षण में दिया क्युकी रावण जिन माता सीता को हर कर ले गया वो उनका प्रतिबिंब था । ये प्रभु की लीला थी सब पहले से निर्धारित होता है क्युकी कैसे भी करके रावण जैसे दुराचारी , बुराई का अंत करना था ..... जय श्री राम🚩🚩

We all have characters as per our choice. Some likes ravan and some likes Ram. Ravan is always be a symbol of sin, if it was not then there was no reason for lord Rama to come to the earth.
