Great video Ela!! Really nice to watch!! But, I've heard that there are many interesting places/museums/permanent exhibitions on Jasna Góra, so maybe one day you can do a material on that. In medieval times Częstochowa used to be one of the most important Marian shrines in Europe, many pilgrims were going there. Nowadays other Marian shrines attract attention like: La Salette (177 years), Lourdes (165 years), Fatima (106 years) or Medjugorje (42 years). But how to compare them to over 640 years of Częstochowa monastery and many miracles that happened there, many personal stories that are linked with this place. Many beautiful examples of artistic and religious treasures are to be seen there. And annual pilgrimages on foot to Czestochowa dating back to XVth century is an absolute fenomen, one of its kind on a world scale. So it is a place not to be missed once in Poland, whether you are catholic or not
A bit of statistics. Lourdes attracts around 6 milion people per year, Fatima around 5 milion, Częstochowa 3-4 milion a year, the max. number ever recorded was 4,5 mln visitors/pilgrims a year. So it is a great number, although it is not that famous
