I remember when Jessica and Paul came to UC Berkeley in 2011. Paul was already famous because of his essays and YC was starting to make a big name for itself. I had known of Jessica through PG’s essays. So we went and talked to her. She was so nice and encouraged us to apply to YC. We were invited for a YC interview a few months later. Even back then they were getting 100s of application a day. I never thought she would remember us. Not only did she remember us but also remembered details about where we met and what we talked about. It was mind blowing display of her social radar. We got into YC and it changed my life. Jessica is one of the kindest people in startup world today.
@@udayverma6120 If I'm not mistaken it's called LeadGenius. Here's the Crunchbase description: "LeadGenius is an end-to-end sales solution that provides companies with a way to generate, qualify, deliver, and convert leads."
Great stuff, I can only imagine how fun it must be from within YC to basically witness all these inspirational stories of people going through the absolute hardest of things and coming up on top
Excellent. I'm so glad you spoke with Jessica. I'd love to hear more inside stories of the early days of Y Cobminator. Could you do an episode with her and Paul Graham on that, please? Not just the things that they have been asked and have answered in all interviews... but the more detailed inside stories. Would be fantastic, and so very much appreciated :)

It is really nice to see how bold she was in order to start YC. And we really thank her for it, because it has given birth to even so many great ideas that are funded right now
@garrytan I love this I've got a business startup from the idea stage. I do have a business plan how do I go about it to raise funding. How can I get a hold of you Garry?
