Update on Astral Spiff: He’s still playing goddamn Security Breach

I'm glad the modding community has kept this game alive. Apart from all the bugs that made this game have a good replay value.

You can SEE the joy LEAVE this poor man everytime he hears "For legal reasons," Please Spiff, take a hike in a lush forest and listen to the birds, for your own sanity take a nature break. Edit: oh thank goodness it just sends him to Freddy's room now

Likely the reason you can still move during STOP by crouching is because they probably just changed MaxWalkSpeed to 0, unaware that MaxWalkSpeedCrouched is an entirely separate variable.

This is definitely the kind of mod that'd benefit from Twitch integration, like most of the "Chaos" mods out there. Dying and crashing because RNG says so isn't fun for anyone, including the chat after awhile. Giving chat the reins is what makes these fun.

Finally the Mod Trilogy is complete

The problem with Day 1 version of the mod was that too many of the effects were "major" effects. Too many of them did too much gameplay. There weren't enough filler effects, minor effects, or gameplay things that wouldn't hinder but rather be helpful (where's the chaos without a bit of good stuff?) Needed more visual and audio effects that were "harmless" like perhaps a Stampede event where you hear the stomps and get the screenshake of a dozen animatronics, but there are no actual animatronics to be seen (just a recorded sfx or perhaps an invisible version of the animatronic that can't hurt you). a Supersonic event where you get infinite stamina, superboosted sprint speed and the ability to jump really high / more than once. I've yet to watch day 2, but the problem with the day 1 mod was that it was malicious by intent, rather than chaotic for fun.

I love how spiff's first reaction to hearing security alert is to turn down his volume. Mine as a vod viewer was to smile, the good memories

My furnace broke in my house, so now there's a bunch of portable heaters, and one of them I SWEAR sounds exactly like the ticking. It's beautiful

Freddy just watching Gregory get immediately killed after he dared leave his stomach hatch while INSIDE his room and having done nothing but breathe and walk around a bit must have been... an experience... for him.

As someone that watches gta5 chaos, something that would increase the fun factor of "table", is an impostor table so that half the time table is announced but doesn't crash and you just have to hope lol. Same with legal reasons, create a fake version of legal reasons that trolls you and you have to hope it's not a real menu kick. Other options to balance the fun are potentially rare positive effects, like temporary invincibility from being caught by animatronics. Teleport to certain locations like the atrium or to the stage or to Freddy's room, would be fun.

as someone who watched the 10 hours worth of chaos VOD time, the chaos mod itself was inherently hilarious. i got a lot of good laughs, out of it! ngl the chaos VODs are probably my favourite spiff content. also rip believers in this challenge ☠️

Spaceman spiff being the origin of spiff is the best spiff lore.

I feel this mod needs more fake outs, and some more calmer interactions, its a bit too "ok back to the main menu or crashing" constantly

the thing I love about your SB videos is the amount of clearly very young people trying to say the game was never a glitchy mess when it's the reason half the people even played this. I love this game, I really do. A good 80% of my love however is from the incredible amounts of jank this game has.

Yeah 0.0.3 sucked, we have made lots of balancing changes since then. 33:17 even worse, in the original Al 0.0.1 before the next event text, you had to do a frame perfect wall clip with a deload caused by the pre patch pov event to beat it, and if you messed up once your game crashed.

There's something cathartic about the final fight. You go there expecting the same tired face for the millionth time, but there's nobody here. He never came back, he's gone, he won't ever return. We can finally move on and forget about him.

we seriously need some amazing modders like the ones that make these mods to work on one that fixes the game and makes it good cuz unfortunately steel wool ain't doing that LOL

The biggest piece of "furniture" that I've broken was a rectangular mirror. I was like 8 or 9 in the basement with my nephew. We saw the mirror and, us being dumb kids, we decided to punch it. I broke it, but not enough to get to the frame. Just enough to crack it like a damaged windshield. I wasn't worried about bad luck that day. I was much more afraid of my dad finding out.

Good news, Spiff, I found Giga Monty! He seemed to have migrated to the Fazbear theater. He could jump, spot me from an ENDLESS distance, and detect me inside Freddy! I can even take him out into the lobby, but nowhere else sadly. I have screenshots for proof! I still can't fully explain it, but if anyone REALLY wants to know, I will try to explain it. Also amazing video as always!

When I said there should be a pizza bot at 31:43 I didn't realize this till a few days ago when I was speedrunning the fire escape (I want to thank you for the idea of speedrunning Security Breach) theres a pizza bot in the kitchen of the pizza bar next to the salad bar.

The ship can be controlled by a system, versus a human even… or on the beach on a warmer state so they can say ‘island resort’

The first version was probably them assuming you wanted it even harder since you made them shorten the timer for the mods where Monty and then all of them spawn.

To answer your “weird competitive sports” question I used to be a part of a competitive robotics team and it was awesome! Nothing like being up at 3am making parts and yelling at a robot to just work!

For the first time Spiff is experiencing how it felt when SB launched for the majority of people that no matter the messed up fan base, ruined lore and polutics driving grown ups away from Fnaf. Still gave the game a chance because there was hope for a new age of good Fnaf. Just to find there being NOTHING but Spiff that saved the game from being completely and utter depressing? You know, I have a funny store regarding the one you talked about with the couch on the highway. When I was younger my parents bought a new couch and we had to strap pieces of it to our car on the way back home, I rode with my dad (Who drove the couch pieces) and my sistee rode with my mom (idk what she was doing). On the way home I look out the window and see a piece just MISSING, and I tell my dad, who gets really mad and we pull over. After some searching on the road with my parents, one of us spots it just sitting on the side of the highway. Idk it just reminded me of that story a long time ago.
