I have many "dark & edgy" tarot decks but I have to say, this is the only deck I own where I actually found the imagery disturbing.

what a thorough and interesting review! I totally agree about details like the line on the pack box, and the circle on the cover, and the embossing on the back etc. Many people don't notice - but I always do, and I'm so grateful when someone else notices, too.

You were not addressing me, but I can tell you from personal experience that forgiveness helps to push shame out. Psychological and interpersonal Research supports that.

Thanks for the review. Nice art and the book looks nicely made but in my opinion this could just as easily be called; 'Yet another esoteric *cough* tarot, with a high cost purple hardback guide book instead of a LWB and low quality box, that's neither major arcana or full tarot'. I guess the name TdM and tarot sells, though I'd respect it more (and be more likely to purchase) if it was named as an esoteric card set using a different name. Even adding the word subversion makes it have no relevance to the name TdM, other than using some of the same titles. As a TdM collector I'd much rather spend the price of this on high quality TdM cards from people like Yves Reynaud or Sullivan Hismans. The not naming of card 13 is where they forgot to subvert from the original TdM canon, it was never usually named, except The Noblet does differ from this and names it LAMORT. You can use TdM for magic too, Christian or not, and I had hoped this was going to have some relevance. Thanks again, love your channel. Edit to add: if anyone in the UK wants this Watkins bookstore have it.

I wasn't aware the serpent was based on the serpent in the garden. There's a great article in "friends of the spirit" which I'm sure you've read that exactly aligns with what I wax taught regarding the symbolism. (That it represents the kundilini energy going up, uniting and separating as it climbs the tree of life (the spine) like the staff of Hermes) does this align with that in any way?

Hey fish totally off topic just wanting to ask a question for someone beginning their high magick journey. Is it frowned upon or just simply not the most efficient thing but in doing the lbrp and middle pillar for the past couple weeks should I stay clear of the greater hexagram ritual or is it totally fine to introduce it to my daily practice along with the lbrp and middle daily or should I just take small bite size pieces

Each person will feel this differently, but generally, yes, give yourself time to experience the changes that your new practice brings about. Maybe a couple months at least? 😊👍
