Oh my God. Wow. This has been an amazing year for GaMetal, and in my mind, this song topped it off. A cover of Serpent Eating the Ground, and by God, it's glorious. At first, I was a little surprised that this song was played so straight with zero solos at first, but I feel as though it worked in the end. Not to mention, the rest of the song was glorious and adapted perfectly, in particular those Zelda and Bowser hand puppets made the whole thing. Also, that solo at the end? Perfection! Making Revo proud here, and making me blush. What a wonderful sendoff. Wasn't aware it's been a constant request, but I for sure can see why. The BD OST has been an instant fave for me and made me discover Revo and his band (or rediscover since I had heard the AoT theme songs). I've been a mega fan of theirs since then. (I think the first time I heard them was your "name is..." cover. I've never actually played the games! I just devoured the OST and their body of work. I've found and bought a copy of BD a couple years ago to finally hear it in context, but I've yet to commit to playing it on my DS... I started a game, and then I started doing other stuff and forgot about it... Anyway!) I also can see why you were hesitant to do it. Holy hell this is an absolute banger! This is such a cool way to end 2023 with something I’ve seen constantly asked for in the comments over the years, and it’s an amazing conclusion to the year. I was thinking the finale was gonna be something like Volo and Giratina, something from Tears of the Kingdom, the AI Professor’s theme, or maybe even something from Elden Ring or God of War: Ragnarok as a surprise pick, but I can’t say I’m disappointed. Why is the serpent eating the ground exactly? Is the ground tasty? Is that what serpents actually eat? Is it eating it cause it likes it or cause it's hungry and it doesn't have any other means of satisfying its hunger? Do you think it eats the ground whenever it feels like it just on impulse or does it actually have a schedule? Does it have a diet? Does it eat the ground specifically cause it is on the ground diet? Like you don't eat anything that would make you fat and just eat the ground to lose weight? Does that actually work? Did anyone try? Can we ask the serpent about this cause I feel like this is pretty important. What will happen when the serpent runs out of the ground to eat? Will it move somewhere else to find more ground? Also in another translation doesn't it actually eat the horizon? I can't even begin to imagine how that works... Maybe it starts eating the horizon when it runs out of ground to eat? Do you think it combines the two to make the meal more interesting? Do you think the ground would compliment the horizon or vice versa? What do you think horizon tastes like? Like strawberries? Like rainbows? What do rainbows taste like as a matter of fact? Do you think we can feed the serpent something else after such a strict ground horizon diet? What if I eat a serpent that ate the horizon and the ground? Does that mean I also ate the horizon and/or the ground? Wish I could try tbh (Credit 2 Threed)

One of the LAST songs I expected to get covered. As a big fan of Linked Horizon, it's quite a thought when I realize that GaMetal now covered one of their songs, and it just translates to the GaMetal style so well. Bravo.

When I finished Bravely Default back in 2015, I knew the final boss was cemented as my favorite final boss track ever, edging out the still venerable Dancing Mad (FF6). You have made this track justice! It is phenomenal, exciting, perfectly timed and oozing style. The only way this could be better IMO is if you and Revo (the composer) joined forces.
