Kate, thank you so much for being “the face” of TFL. I appreciate how much work goes into these episodes. Not only are you a friendly face that keeps us company, but you provide us with sewing related and interesting ideas. Have a good break, enjoy your time off, and see you next year!
Thank you so much, Kate, for your searching, thoughtful, illuminating discourses. I thoroughly enjoy tuning in and hearing you "get cracking" on whatever is on the agenda. New patterns, wonderful entertainment and edification . . . inspiration of all kinds. You make my life bettter -- so a hearty thanks and wishing you a wonderful holiday and looking forward to 2024 with the Fold Line. :)
Thank you so much Kate for saying that Christmas can be difficult for some people. I plan to spend the holidays moving furniture around and setting up a permanent sewing space for the New Year. I love your recommendations! Especially podcasts, which were invaluable to me during my long COVID recovery. Merry Christmas to all of you lovely people at TFL🎄
The Fold Line is such an inspiration to me, and I look forward to each and every episode here at YT as well as the lovely blog and shop. Thank you for all your hard work in bringing us this content. Happy Christmas!
Have a lovely Xmas break, thank you for the recommendations! I’d recommend the Spanish series of El tiempo entre costuras/The Time Inbetween, it’s about a Spanish dressmaker who flees Madrid during the civil war, then opens a dressmaking business and becomes a spy - it’s great!
The TFL blog really is a great resource and I think you're allowed to toot your own horn! Also, there's nothing wrong with preferring audio to text for long-format writing. How lucky we are to be living in a time when there is so much high-quality content easily accessible. We truly are spoilt with all the audiobooks, podcasts, and video channels like yours (which I am not ashamed to say I have put on autoplay in the background for sewing company). Thank you so much Kate and team, and hope you all have a marvellous festive season ❤
The museum of London Docklands is a lovely museum, welcoming staff and Fashion City is a great exhibition. Happy Christmas and thanks for all your interesting and informative videos ! 🎄🎄🎄
I became aware of the YT sewing community about 9/10 months ago and have been binge watching every sine. I love your channel and try not to miss any new videos. Love the variety of subjects and all your insights. Thank you for what you do! Looking forward to next years content 😊
Flip! I don't know where I'm going to find the time for all of these. Thank you so much for taking the time to collate and share these excellent recommendations. Marvelous job! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and joyous New Year xx
Book recommendation: Threads of Life-A History of the World Through the Eye of a Needle by Clare Hunter. Author from Glasgow does a lot of community sewing projects and the book is arranged by topics such as identity, protest, art and voice. My favorite chapter is Work.
Have a lovely Christmas to all at TFL. Look forward to more lovely content in the New Year. I am also looking forward to the goodies I ordered myself from TFL as a treat to myself 😉🎄
I think I must say this lots, but I LOVE these videos!!!!! And thanks for the murdery tidbit! Always appreciated! I have a friend who is in the UK right now with time on her hands. I will shoot the link for the this video! Happy Christmas Kate! Enjoy your break! XOXO
A great video Kate, I’m all set up now for the Xmas holiday 😂 I love your presenting style and was fixated on your blouse, love it 💕 A happy Christmas to you all at the fold line have a well deserved break 🪡🧵✂️
Thanks so much for this Kate, I love getting your podcast recommendations as I do a lot of driving for work and enjoy listening. Happy Christmas - I’m one who can’t wait for January!! 😂 x
Interesting information about the sewing related topics, but do think about how many “Um” you say , if you need to breath between sentences, do but not with the “um”.
Janey mack, Wendy. If how someone speaks naturally bothers you, either don’t watch or keep it to yourself. This is the absolute height of rudeness and selfishness 🙄
