Damian does make a point, Travis does come off like he's always tryna have a moment, always wanna spotlight, instead of just being regular sometimes. I can definitely see Travis calling Damien about some superficial stuff. How many times on the show have we seen Travis try to be funny... Is Travis funny? Yes. But he be doing the most too. You don't see too many genuine regular moments from Travis, you see Travis trying to have memeable moments. I feel like he's different now too, but I also think that really, that's always been Travis energy, now that he has more exposure, he's just really went into it.

Well Travis has been that way. I don’t see a change he was always grandiose and extra. Didn’t see a change. What I think it really is, is Damien is jealous and couldn’t take Travis shining. Didn’t he just say he’s burnt out on his business? Seems to me he was unsure of himself and couldn’t take Travis constantly bragging about what he’s doing and accomplished.

Damien and Travis conversation was much needed. People gotta remember that a friendship is two way street. Stop always expecting for someone to hit you up. How I'm supposed to know you're in a pickle if there is no communication?! You can't pick and choose who you want to communicate with. And then try to make it like everyone else is not worth your energy or time if they don't hit your line. Love and treat all your friends equally#period

I appreciate Damian and Travis sitting down and having a genuine conversation about their friendship. There are a lot of people that are friends that won't even do that, they will not talk to each other and that's just it. Whether they decide to be friends again or not, I think that the least that you can do as people that were friends is have that conversation. Now it was weird that they had it at Damian's birthday gathering, but it seems like, that was a time and a place because people weren't really talking like that, and I think that that was because of the tension. I can say, it seems like Travis actually does care about his friendship with Damian, which is a good thing because people really don't be caring, but I think that Travis's persona, which may be him, but maybe an extension of him, has gotten in the way of a genuine friendship.

@@juanfitz2012 I don't think he's jealous at all. I do think that Travis is a character and it's a lot to take in. It seems like Damian was saying that every time they get on the phone, it's about Travis and nothing else, and there it's just surface level conversation is nothing deep. I'm the same way, it's cool to talk about your accomplishments, but you can't really be a friend to someone if you don't talk about anything else deeper than that. It's nothing wrong with wanting more than that. It seems like, from my understanding of Damian and his energy with Travis, that there is a lack of emotional connection between him and Travis.

I felt that Damian didn't want to own his part in the breakdown of their friendship. People who do that really annoy me. Saying things like "we can both do better" or "let's call a truce". Either you own your part or you don't. He says Travis never calls him when he's in town - he calls Malcolm. Yet he admits he never answered his phone when Travis called. I really got it when Travis said "I don't know what to do anymore." Travis was hurt.

While I’m glad the hard conversation was had - I’m honestly extremely shocked that Damian entertained this type of conversation with Travis during what was supposed to be his birthday gathering. Travis knows he could’ve picked another time to have this discussion. I don’t think that this was the time for that. Just say’n. 😬
