Notre Dame of Paris was built by a city with a population less than that of my small Virginia hometown, where the largest building is a big box retail store with the aesthetics of a cardboard box. It’s absolutely stunning what real religious belief can achieve.

1:22:25 Everyone forgets the ancient Christian population - that there aren't 3 sides in this conflict shows both that the Jewish worldview is simply J3w/G0y & that the local Christians were abandoned by their coreligionists.

an unintentional masterpiece. I believe this is your finest work. Hit it on the head with the cartridge. There are few if any rational reactions out there. It does feel like anything could happen. One day its demons the next its aliens... But it could be the First Resurrection or 2nd coming. And that really wouldn't surprise anyone.

Excellent analysis. Your statement on "No one can actually believe this because it is inconsistent" is incorrect but you make it correct with "OK, you believe this so what is the next step we take." That makes it real. Inside peoples' heads there is not some gravity like force for logic that makes their illogical constructions fall down. And when people are in the social realm there IS a gravity like force for social group compliance not logical consistency. RE Sam Harris' thought experiment on the moral superiority of Israel since given full power they would not genocide the Palestinians but the Palestinians if given full control would genocide the Israelis. "OK, you believe this so what is the next step we take." This moves it beyond Sam just wanting people to admit to the moral superiority of his tribe and tacitly then allow them to do whatever they want.

It seems to me that with the Palestine conflict there is an elephant in the room that is being completely ignored, by the left obviously but also by the right. People see the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a series of wars, atrocities, negotiations etc. Of course with different outlooks to causalities, what action is justified, the narrative of the opressed etc etc. This is not necessarily wrong, but it is obfuscating the actual root cause of the conflict. This conflict started with the large scale immigration of Jews into Palestine from the late 19th century onwards. Now you might say that things could have worked out differently if this or that party had showed more leniance, acted more benevolent and far sighted but in my opinion that is delusional. The possibility of continued peaceful coexistence of these 2 peoples strikes me as extremely unlikely. We can see that often the slightest infractions will spiral out of control. Even if they can reach a stable order for some time it will be obliterated by any geopolitical or demographic shift. The Palestinian wars of the last century were already set in stone by the decision to resettle the Israelites in their ancient homestead. The actual controversy here should be the issue of migration. I think we all know why the extreme Left isn't talking about it. It has been pointed out many times how their opposition to Zionist migration contradicts their standpoint on the very same topic in their home countries. They use contrived academical language like "settler colonialism" to obfuscate this contradiction, which really only works because they have power in media and education, and thereby bypass the actual conversation to be had. That is probably not too surprising, yet I am wondering why apparently nobody else brings up this topic either. The implications for the narrative of the currently ongoing migrations into Europe are huge. There is a giant gap in the narratives of migration and the question is how much longer it can hold together.

To put on a more cynical hat regarding the deracination of the postwar west: On the level of individual families/people, they did abandon their old cultural traditions and values once shinier new toys came on the market, which implies, in part at least, that these cultural traditions and values were not that well treasured in the first place. I am convinced, for example, that the birth-control pill has revealed that nature never selected for women to have a strong actively seek out having children, because the sexual drive always resulted in children by default. Decoupling these has put humanity into a new evolutionary bottleneck; selecting for women who actively choose to have children (and lets face it, it is women who actively have to choose). - The demographic collapse we are seeing is the new selection-pressure being applied nearly globally all at once. And it will get ugly. Just like the collapse in lifeforms during a large ecological/environmental change that causes new traits to be needed for survival. A different sort of human temperament will emerge from this eventually, provided we survive and assuming we don't return to a more primitive tech-level.

Hi Dave, as someone who's been watching your channel since probably 2016 or so, and who has learned so much from you, I have been contemplating what to say or what to ask you. I am Jewish and grew up in the States, and moved to Israel after high school, almost 20 years ago. I have been thinking and asking myself why I've been interested in this corner of the Internet, in the Dissident Right in its various flavors, where it can be confusing as to who could be friend to me and who could be enemy. Since you extend your hand in friendship, I would like to extend mine. I know that we are part of a common civilization, and I have great respect for Christendom. I must answer the question of why I'm even here, and for so many years, and I really wish that you could feel that you had a people and a country too. I remember when you critiqued Yoram Hazony for saying that finding a connection to your ethnicity in church was just not an option, and even though I'm not sure you'll find it there, I rpray that you find that connection. We are suffering the consequences of not only mass immigration, but mass deracination. I can only speak for myself, but I hope you accept at least my hand in friendship and yes, in common struggle against the forces eating at our civilization, within or without. God bless you and your family Dave, and thank you for your many years of work.

I am sure you are aware who the primary culprits were in pushing the mass immigration and deracination you so readily cite. You would have to be blind to not notice but then again, given how insular, neurotic, self-obsessed and uncaring towards European culture your culture is, you probably won't notice. Your hyprocrisy is beyond astounding and I wonder if it is at times just an act. I guess we will never know but the damage you have done is likely too late to repair. Well played.

For more context I'm a recent graduate and in my mid 20s. It's your statements on the importance of supports that has been giving me pause on this. Adding to the difficulty is that I live at home, as we don't have the means to properly move out in the city and I am worried about falling into a rental trap and never owning a home. So we are agreed that society is being run by hysterical women, and of course men either masquerading as hysterical women or who have fully 'transformed' themselves into hysterical women on a psychological level. The question is how do we fix this? It is something that everyone seems terrified to even discuss, and of course that is half the problem.

You might have said so before, but I have not watched every live stream, so idk. But in the context of the question of your people, would you consider your people to be the Catholic Church or the American people? The thought came to my mind when I consider that the two sides of the I/P conflict in an international context view it less as Israeli or Palestinian nationalism so much as Jewish vs. Muslim nationalism, which are both religions, and yet there is no Kingdom of Jerusalem Christian nationalism beyond edgy tradposters who are unserious and never anticipate actually joining a crusade to rechristianize the Holy Land. And the reason for that is that, fundamentally, the vast majority of even the most right-wing Christians, whether Catholic or Protestant, have a revealed preference of viewing themselves as citizens of America before and above being subjects of the Kingdom of Heaven, who can hardly bring themselves to spread the gospel because they are uncomfortable with sharing their faith in an earnest, lowercase-e evangelical way.

Great movie, definitely not a weak Pixar film by any stretch.

@The Distributist Good day Dave. I'm presuming that you already listened to Darryl Cooper's excellent MartyrMade podcast series 'Fear & Loathing In The New Jerusalem', at some point before now. Given the State of the West & my own homeland, (I still haven't clawed my way out of darkest NW London so it's visceral daily), I have thought of it often since I first heard it in 2016. If you haven't listened to it I call upon you to take up the challenge to do so soonest you can, (though it is 22hrs at normal speed - I did it in a weekend on double), & if you have, to perhaps give it a relisten with a strategic ear. Besides being an excellent & nuanced (though by no means perfect) primer it frames 2 paths & fates ahead of our own peoples & outlines what needs to be done & avoided. Had I the time, (4 girls, 5th child now on the way next year), I would extract from it a work of lessons & then apply them to our own current situation & context; in order to ascertain an outline of what, practically, absolutely must be done to maximise the possibilities of avoiding the ultimate tragedy. Wishing your family good spirits & health for the dark months. Best Regards, GOP.

Robert Eggers wrote and directed The Witch --- I normally wouldn't nitpick, but I see him and Ari Aster as opposites. Ari Aster is fiercely nihilistic. I don't normally get scared by movies, but Hereditary scared the crap out of me just because its depth of nihilism was so viscerally communicated. Robert Eggers always has an aspect of transcendence in his movies. He shows transcendence in the margins/at the lowest, but it's there; he is not nihilistic. This isn't based on anything he said, but I get strong Jungian vibes. Ari Aster's Midsommar portrays paganism through a very mocking, critical lense. It's almost a new-atheist style criticism, "look how dumb the things these people believe are lol". In The Witch, Robert Eggers does not shine the scientist's light on the supernatural elements. He respects the feminine mystery of the pagan elements, and he even sees re-birth in that mystery. I find Ari to be talented but misguided, while Robert might not have the sheer talent, but his artistic insight is on point.

The idea of using a satanic cult forcing pregancy to create a monster as a metaphor (if you take the standard critical view of it) for the experiences of preganncy is really dark imo. it's also overrated in my opinion. it's clearly a good film but it's run time to character development ratio is very poor, it fails as a analysis of what its motivating evil in the hearts of the people engaging in it imo

(1) _UN Squadron_ had an anime aesthetic because it's an adaptation of the manga series _Area 88._ (2) Charles Manson was a white supremacist who hoped killing Sharon Tate would instigate a race war. He also believed he would seduce so many white women out of Haight-Ashbury that black men, singlehandedly deprived of white women by Manson, would go crazy. Consider that when noting the satanic character of the Manson family. (3) The U.S. gov't did not announce the existence of aliens. Just because Matt Gaetz and AOC say "wow, we should take these claims seriously" does not mean we should take these claims seriously. Even trained Navy pilots can misread infrared camera feeds. Believe it or not. (4) The strategic goal of the Hamas attack is to goad Israel into retaliating so hard that Saudi Arabia and other Saudi bloc countries have to cancel their agreements with Israel. Hamas thinks that if they do nothing, they'll just be gradually ethnically cleansed, so they have to throw the chessboard off the table even if that means sacrificing thousands of their own people just so their own allies are no longer limited to Iran and Iran bloc countries. (5) You might think non-crazy people won't notice that Distributist implied that Israel intentionally allowed Hamas into Southern Israel. It's actually pretty noticeable. Never attribute to the Elders of Zion what can be reasonably attributed to incompetence. (6) If you're curious about non-crazy lefties responding to Israel-Palestine, check out Destiny and LonerBox Live.
