Welcome back to Inanimate Insanity Invitational, where MePhone can never leave well enough alone! As he forces the contestants to trash their old team names and form new ones, relationships and rivalries are formed in turn! But amongst all of this team bickering, self-reclamation, and an insurmountable love of pink, who has the time to think up a perfect new name?! With one contestant soon to be sent packing, it’s sink or swim!

I’m pretty sure the Geez, honey is not like we’re married is a doctor who reference. (The whole “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue” was a big line in the episode Big Bang and it was said during Amy Ponds wedding, and Bow being the one to make the wedding joke is also possibly a reference to that incarnation of the doctors love of bow-ties)

I suspect Cabby has some connection to Meeple- maybe an insider, gathering info about the competition? How else would she know so much about the show, its contestants, and particularly MePhone, despite claiming to not be a fan of it? Why else would she be so hesitant to reveal why she's gathering all of this information? Perhaps the reason she's visibly scared by Bow just before the voting scene is because she has what she did at the end of Season 1, Episode 18 Part Two filed away somewhere, and doesn't want to risk that happening again? Her formality as well, it comes off as endearing, yet cold and calculated- not posh, like Silver Spoon. Steve Cobs exhibited a similar style of formality during Season 2, Episode 8 before revealing his true colors. Could blowing her cover be what Cabby is trying so hard to avoid? If so, voting off one of the most insightful/nosy contestants, Fan, is absolutely the right move. I'm hoping for some discussion through replies. What do you think?

I'm not sure they're going to go that route. Didn't they say in the "Why We Made Inanimate Insanity 3" that they wanted to go back to their simple roots with this one and have it be just a fun, wacky reality competition show? I feel like what you're suggesting might be too dramatic for that kind of a direction. They also said that Seasons 2 and 3 won't really have much of an impact on each other, especially not the latter to the former.

@@Mylegshurt420 Personally, I don't really feel the season strictly needs a villain. While I agree they've done some pretty jerkish things, I wouldn't go as far as to call them outright villainous, at least not irredeemably so, especially since they do both show at least some degree of regret for their actions. Also, I've listened to the official Patreon podcast for this episode, and while I don't remember the details since it was back in September, I didn't really get "budding villain" vibes from the way the crew were talking about Cabby.

Spoilers here: Cabby is such an interesting character. She has almost infinite knowledge. She doesn’t want to be a villain, but is so strategic. She has so much potential as a strong player, yet remains a nice person making her less one dimensional. I can’t wait to see them in the future. I’m also glad Goo and Tea Kettle got more time this episode. Both of them had less time last episode. Also, Silver Spoon deserves more love. He’s a really funny and clumsy character. I can see them growing in the future,

@@mouthlesshater Is it possible for her to not be near the Bow when she's controlling it? That could be causing the glitches. MePhone talks directly to the audience, so in-universe it's likely this show is live. Bow could we watching it from the mansion and using that live broad cast to react? She was above Apple when she controlled them, but they were also close anyways. We haven't seen that she is necessarily unable to control from a distance.

Wow. This episode is just. Wow. All the characters are so memorable. The visuals are beautiful. This is one of the greatest object show episodes of all time. There wasn't a single scene I didn't like! The writing is just wonderful! Although it's sad to see my favorite character Fan go so early, this episode was still great! I can't wait for the next episode to come out!
