I would say that watermelon guy is more like Squidward than the lemon. From what I've seen, the lemon isn't grumpy. He's in constant fear and always tries to escape the island but Coconut Fred never lets him.

Aside from being funny, a difference between Spongebob and Coconut Fred is that Spongebob is kind hearted and wants to make everyone else happy. Fred on the other hand is self absorbed and only wants fun for himself.

Coconut Fred was a terrible ripoff of Spongebob. To make matters worse, Fred himself has godlike powers. He can make anything happen, no matter how ridiculous or impossible it should be. I'm surprised the other characters don't take advantage of it, but it might be too clever if they did.

he literally just has to ask "imagine if" or "What if" before whatever he says or suggests actually happens despite nothing saying that should be the case, like thinking that his watch called "the timeatron fantastic" could help them time travel to solve a problem on ice cream melting in the middle of summer on a tropical island, after being told that just because it had a fancy name it wouldn't let them actually alter time, leading him to ask "but imagine if it DID work like a Time Machine" leading to his watch turning into a rather simple time machine capable of travelling from the ice age to the far far future, meaning yes, he could more than likely beat Goku,

You have to give em SOME credit for originality. Instead of ONE patrick, they have TWO, and Squidward's personality is split in two; the part that wants to move away from the protagonist is Wedgy, and the part that's always grumpy and by the book is Mr Greenrind.

Coconut Fred is basically SpongeBob and Annoying Orange combined. In other words coconut Fred is SpongeBob and annoying orange having a child. SpongeBob + annoying orange = coconut Fred

@@WeeWillySuperWhyit’s not as bad as people say, I’m on episode 12 and so far i like it. It’s definitely better than alot of the later SpongeBob seasons.

when I was 5-6 years old, my mom told that I could watch the show because I was bored I said "no I am too old for that show" then I watched anyway I couldn't stop laughing but watching it today as 10 years I barely laugh at all I REALLY haven't been living.

i used to think coconut fred was a ripoff, but i thought "is it actually a ripoff tho?" so i watched this episode. and thanks to this episode i now know its not a ripoff! just some characters have some similarities.

So, I watched about three episodes of Coconut Fred and I actually genuinly enjoyed it. I had a few pretty good laughs. There were some goofs, and some gaffs.The sow is definitely meant for a younger audience, and I think that it's people of older age that were watching it that were giving it so much hate. I personally can not stand sponge bob but for some reason find Coconut fred more tolerable.

You know, I actually like the concept of food based characters with their personalities reflecting their food theme and flavor (hence why I love Cookie Run so much) but this show along with Annoying Orange just did not do a good execution of that concept.
