I was born into traditional jazz my mum played piano , my dad was a hot trombonist , I took after my dad n the apple didn't fall far from the tree . When he played with Alex Welch Alex told him he needs to get to London like right now. I feel blessed to have such parents , trad jazz is the most difficult of all the genre to learn n either you have it or you dnt , but even louis said the music is going in the wrong direction the cats these days are missing the missing link , well pops it ain't got any better , some of us try to uphold the music you played , some dnt but it is what it is. The girl playing trombone likes to play with that plunger and is getting so much better as we do the more we play . Thank you guys for uploading this , great stuff
WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! Shannon I really enjoyed watching and hearing your wonderful concert on RU-vid. That's what I miss the most about leaving New Orleans. Don't hear that kind of music here in Birmingham. I miss you guys, including my son (bass player) Kerry Lewis.
I am so honored and gratified to include my inspiration, Haruka Kitsuki, and all the others iin this beautiful jazz band in my sharing with my international facebook friends . Amen.
I never thought music this brilliant could be so annoying. I think maybe they're over rehearsed...if there is such a thing. And I've never heard a piano played like that...and never need to hear it again. Wow.
@@althejazz Why did I ever type that?? That was 4 months ago...I must have been in a SUPER bad mood or something. This stuff is great! hmm...maybe my account was hacked? Who knows! Peace!
