An other-worldly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1962. TharusThe Dragon osamu tzeuko’s Phoenix series. Not sure if I spelled the name right, but it has an episode of where the main character of the story falls for a robot who looks like a human somewhat. Some swearing but great stories overall. If you’re a huge fan of anime, I highly recommend it

How about alien species? I would recommend the Mass Effect video game series. You meet so many different people from different planets with unique cultures and much like real people, some are good, some bad, some scared and some lonely -- but all want to be understood. Falling in love because of your experiences with and understanding of a sentient being in complete disregard of their physical appearance is somewhat freeing, no? Star Trek is also good for this reason.

Ive never been high, or on acid.,. but watching this movie i had to get some blood work done jsut to be sure that del torro actually made a movie about if the girl from pans labrynth washed up on shore, became a janitor and had a love affair with Abe sapien from hellboy under the nose of general zod. What.. the fuck.. is this..
