It's often smart, but sometimes the Royalty deal Kevin tries to structure screws him out of getting a deal at all. Sometimes you just have to be willing to take some risk and put your money in harms way. You can't play it safe all the time and dump all the danger on the entrepreneur. Mark has no problem doing straight equity deals. Why does Kevin hesitate on standard equity deals so much?
